Itinerary
- Day 1
Darwin to Kakadu National Park
After leaving Darwin, you'll head to Mary River Wetlands for a cruise where you can spot birdlife and crocodiles typical of the Top End. Then it's on to Kakadu National Park to check out the Bowali Visitor Centre and learn about the area. Later you'll drive to Cahills Crossing on the Kakadu-Arnhem Land border before heading up to Ubirr rock to watch the sunset while exploring ancient Aboriginal rock art. You'll return to camp for dinner with the group.

Kakadu National Park
Starting early, you'll drive south through Kakadu National Park and spend the day hiking through monsoon rainforests with swimming stops at plunge pools and waterfalls surrounded by escarpments. Which waterfalls you visit depends on group fitness, so you might see Motor Car Falls, Moline Rockhole, Maguk, or Jim Jim Falls. If there's time left, you can explore Burrungkuy (Nourlangie Rock) to see ancient Aboriginal rock art that dates back over 20,000 years before heading back to camp.

Kakadu National Park to Darwin
You'll leave Kakadu National Park and head toward Litchfield National Park for the afternoon. There you'll swim in spring-fed streams and rock holes, visiting a combination of spots like Buley Rockholes, Wangi Falls, or Florence Falls depending on what appeals to you. Before heading back to Darwin, you'll see the Magnetic and Cathedral Termite Mounds. You should arrive back at your accommodation around 7:00pm.
