Regarding Trexperience Lares Trek and Inca Trail trek to Machu Picchu 5 days for $672; it looks as if days 2 and 3 are exactly the same itinerary. Can you please clarify?

The activities are the same however the locations are different.

I was wondering if there was somewhere safe to leave some of our stuff that we do not want to take on the trek with us? Or if we will need to carry everything. I understand porters will be able to carry some, but I will have been travelling for a few months and will not require all my stuff on the hike.

We can save your luggage in our storage free of charge. You don't have to take everything to the trek, also only 7 kg are allowed on the duffel bags we provide for the trek.

I'm am interested in doing the Machu Picchu hike - one that is less crowded. What are good dates to come and what do you recommend (i.e. coming a day before, staying an extra day, etc) to make this an awesome experience?

The Lares Trek is one of the less crowded treks we have. Recommended all year round. You need to arrive in Cusco around 2 days prior to the trek departure to acclimatize.
