- Day 1Berlin ArrivalYou'll arrive at Brandenburg Airport with transfer options at 10:30, 13:00, and 16:00. After getting settled, spend your afternoon checking out the city. KaDeWe department store is worth a visit if you're interested in how West Berlin's consumer culture developed during the city's division. This evening, you'll join your Travel Director and the group for a Welcome Dinner with wine at a local restaurant. - Meals

- Day 2BerlinA Local Expert leads a guided tour covering Berlin's main sights. You'll drive along Ku'Damm past the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, through the Tiergarten to see the glass dome on the Reichstag, then stop at the Brandenburg Gate. After that, you'll walk down Unter den Linden past Humboldt University and the State Opera. Museum Island is included on the route. The afternoon is yours to spend freely, though visiting Potsdam's palace is a good option if you want to venture out. - Meals

- Day 3DresdenTravel to Dresden for a guided tour with a Local Expert. You'll see the Frauenkirche, which was rebuilt after WWII destruction, and view 'The Procession of the Princes' mosaic on the Royal Palace. The cathedral, Semper Opera House, and Zwinger Palace are also on the schedule. Despite its bombing history, Dresden preserves significant early German history and medieval architecture throughout the city. - Meals

- Day 5Neuschwanstein Castle and OberammergauYou'll travel to Neuschwanstein, the fairy-tale castle Ludwig II built on an Alpine mountainside. A local historian guides you through the decorated apartments, including the Throne Room and Lohengrin Grotto. Later, you'll drive the Alpine Road to the Wieskirche, a Baroque masterpiece. From there, head to Oberammergau to see the theatre for the Passion Play (performed since 1634) and the town's painted chalets. By evening, return to Munich for a Farm-to-Table Highlight Dinner with fresh local ingredients and wine. - Meals

In the afternoon, you'll drive into the Black Forest heading toward Freiburg. - Meals

- Day 7Black Forest and Rothenburg ob der TauberYou're in the Black Forest now, known for cherry cake and cuckoo clocks. Stop to meet local artisans still making cuckoo clocks by hand using traditions from over 300 years ago, and try a glass of cherry wine. Then travel to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, the best-preserved town on the Romantic Road. An orientation walk takes you through narrow cobbled streets with high-gabled houses to the market square and Renaissance town hall. Spend the rest of the day at your own pace. For dinner, choose from hand-picked restaurants within the Old Town walls. - Meals

- Day 8Heidelberg and MainzYou'll pass through valleys with villages and farms beside streams, then head north to Heidelberg. There you'll visit Heidelberg Palace, one of the world's most impressive ruins and connected to the Romantic Movement. See the Heidelberg Tun, a massive wine vat from 1591 that holds 130,000 liters, and hear stories about the court jester Perkeo. Check out the Apothecary Museum and take in panoramic views from the castle. Later, travel to Mainz for an orientation with your Travel Director, seeing half-timbered houses and medieval market squares. - Meals

- Day 9Rhine Valley Cruise and KoblenzStart with a relaxing cruise past steep vineyards, half-timbered taverns, and hilltop castles, passing the Lorelei Rock. You'll reach Boppard and continue to Koblenz where a large equestrian statue of Wilhelm I stands at the Rhine and Moselle junction. On the return along the eastern bank, keep your camera ready for views of the Niederwald Monument. This evening ends with a Celebration Dinner overlooking the Rhine with local wine. Prost! - Meals
