John guided us through the Great Pyramids, Egyptian Museum, Hanging Church, Cavern Church and around Alexandria. He was very knowledgeable and provided ample time to explore on our tour. Hussein guided us around Abu Simbel, Philae, Kom Ombo, Edfu, Valley of the Kings, Luxor, Karnak, Dendara, and Abydos. He was also very knowledgeable and a wonderful guide. He went out of his way to make us comfortable and was able to get us to each site before it got too busy. We were able to spend a lot of time viewing all the ancient art. He became one of our family members as we were on the tour and I would highly recommend him to anyone who visits Luxor and Aswan. Both John and Hussein were awesome guides and they helped make this trip one that I will never forget. Hema and Temer were awesome....the cruise was 1/3 full so we had the entire ship to ourselves. would have been better to have cruised longer, and not to have to get up between 4-6am most days...but sooo worth the early mornings...Abydos and Dendereh were amazing. Been on the list for a long time....the museums were great and and always felt safe. no worries... Michael, John and there tour guides were nothing short of amazing 🙂 Right from the start everything went smoothly, pick up from airport, dropping us to the hotels, which by the way were incredible, safety was never an issue and they made sure everyone's needs were met. My only complaint and it's not even really complaint is I think at the end of the your we definitely needed to stay at least 3 nights in Hurghada so you could experience both the diving and everything Mecure had to offer. The food, the people the experience was spot on. The cruise was amazing as well. Gluten-Free Meals: While gluten-free products are somewhat limited in Egypt, most of the meals on the tour are served as open buffets, giving your wife the flexibility to choose what best suits her Coeliac dietary requirements. We also recommend bringing some gluten-free crackers or biscuits to have on hand during the trip. From our side, we can arrange to have some gluten-free bread available for her while in Cairo, and if you wish, we can also prepare some for you to take on the Nile cruise. It's best to avoid dishes such as pasta with white sauce, as these often contain flour — rice, grilled meats, vegetables, and legumes are good alternatives and are commonly served.
