Cairo
Land at Cairo airport and meet your representative who'll help you through immigration and baggage claim. A private air-conditioned car takes you to your hotel for check-in. Settle in, have dinner, and spend the night in Cairo.

Giza - Saqqara - Memphis
After breakfast, head to the Pyramids of Giza and see the Great Sphinx up close, then take a 20-minute camel ride through the area. Lunch comes at a restaurant near the pyramids. In the afternoon, you'll visit the step pyramid at Saqqara and check out Memphis. Back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Cairo to Aswan
After breakfast, check out and spend time at the Egyptian Museum exploring the collections. Have lunch, then walk through historical Old Cairo, where you'll see the Hanging Church and wander Khan El-Khalili bazaar. Later that evening, fly to Aswan and get transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Aswan
After breakfast, meet your guide to see the High Dam and the Temple of Philae. You'll have a Nubian lunch in Aswan, then return to the hotel. The afternoon brings a Felucca sailing trip on the Nile (75°F/24°C). Later, head to a Nubian village for dinner before returning to your hotel for the night.

Aswan to Abu Simbel to Kom Ombo
Start early with a breakfast box and drive to Abu Simbel for a guided tour of the temples. Afterward, head back to Aswan and board your Nile cruise ship. Lunch happens on board, then you sail toward Kom Ombo. Dinner and overnight on the ship.

Kom Ombo to Edfu to Esna to Luxor
After breakfast, tour the Temple of Kom Ombo, which honors both Sobek (crocodile god) and Haroeris (hawk-headed god). Lunch is back on the cruise. You'll sail to Edfu to visit the Temple of Horus, the Nile's best-preserved temple. Continue sailing through Esna's lock, then arrive in Luxor for dinner and overnight on the ship.

Luxor
After breakfast, explore Luxor's West Bank in the morning, visiting the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and Colossi of Memnon. Return to the cruise for lunch. If you're interested, an optional carriage ride takes you to the Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple in the evening before dinner on the ship.

Luxor to Cairo
After breakfast, check out and cross to the Eastern bank to visit Karnak and Luxor temples. Karnak features several temples with the spectacular avenue of Rams, while Luxor temple was built for worshipping Amon Ra. Then head to Luxor airport for your flight to Cairo. Dinner and overnight in Cairo.

Alexandria or Grand Egyptian Museum
You have two options today. Option 1 takes you on a scenic drive to Alexandria to see the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, Pompey's Pillar, and the Citadel of Qaitbay, plus the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and a walk along the Corniche. Seafood lunch at a local spot. Option 2 keeps you in Cairo to explore the Grand Egyptian Museum with its collection of ancient artifacts and King Tutankhamun's treasures (lunch on your own). Either way, return to Cairo, check in at your hotel, and have dinner and overnight.
