We stop our hiking tours in November due to snow starting in some parts of the mountains however we are still doing hikes in October. It is getting cooler, with evenings and early mornings at around 4c - 5c and we also suggest waterproof clothing in case of rain.

Absolutely worth it, the air is fresh and the hike is definitely enjoyable. So long as you have some light and warm clothing, your experience will be great. This is also a less busy season so the Guesthouses will not be over full.

You will be carrying your belongings with you during the trek so we recommend you pack lightly. Mule or horse caravan can be arranged to carry heavy luggage from point to point and is available on request at a charge of 100 Euros per horse/mule for the 1 day. A horse can carry between 30 – 35 kg. Accomodation will be in Guesthouses such as Guesthouse Flodisa, Guesthouse Selimaj or similar.
