Trip date: June 2023 - JJodyBijary· October 22nd, 2021I would highly recommend it. The trip on Konami Lake was gorgeous (remember to rug up it gets cold). Valbona is a cool mountain village that was a nice introduction to the accursed mountains. The Valbona to Theth hike was beautiful. I found it tough but have done little exercise all over Covid. I wish I was fitter for it so it was less of a struggle but I still thoroughly enjoyed the hike and had a huge sense of accomplishment from making it. I can firmly put my ability to complete the hike with my horrible fitness to the guide Ergi. He was amazing and if he is your hiking guide you are in good hands. I also loved the Blue eye of Theth. I had hurt my knee a bit on the long hike so paid to get a keep to the village near the start of the trail. For me, best money spent ever as I could then really enjoy the actual Blue Eye hike. We have had children join the hikes with their parents in the past, however it really depends on fitness levels as there is a 6-8 hour hike on day 2 for example (about 1050m elevation) in a remote terrain.
