Choose BalkansOperator•Written July 2025Luggage transfer is only needed on the third day for the hiking part from Theth to Valbona. On the other days, you will be staying at the same guesthouse, so no transfer is necessary. The luggage transfer on the third day will cost €110 for both of you.

You can carry a light backpack with you during the hike, which is useful for items like water, picnic lunch, and personal essentials. The total luggage allowance is 25–30 kg. The cost of luggage transport is €110 in total (for both of you). The transport is done by mule, which does not follow the same path as you. On Day 3, your bags will be transported directly to the next guesthouse.
