Our guide Muhammed exceeded my expectations. His wealth of knowledge of Egypt and it’s people was fantastic. Everything from the Sphinx, Abu Simbel, museums, Philae island Valley of the Kings & the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, we’re incredible. The Egyptian people were so happy to see tourists finally visiting their country and so humble. Did we feel safe? Absolutely!!! Look at Egypt tour made an excellent job putting our private tour together. Everything was above expectations! Our representative in Cairo Tarek made us feel very comfortable and secured. He was very helpful and always on time for the airports pickups. Our tour guide in Cairo Marwa was excellent and dedicated. With her we learned a lot about the culture and history of Egypt! She is the perfect guide to show Cairo to a tourist, she really enjoys what she does and she is extremely proud of her country. On our Nile cruise we were very lucky too to have Eltyab as a guide. He has a very deep knowledge of ancient history which he demonstrated in every visit to different temples during the cruise. The Nile cruise in the Minerva cruise, was excellent. A truly 5 stars cruise! Excellent service and food. The suites rooms were amazingly comfortable and spacious. In summary our experience with Look at Egypt tours has been great! Our tour was everything we hoped it would be and the most important that it was so safe for me and my daughter. Look at Egypt Tours took care of everything from our Visa upon arrival to making sure we ordered a breakfast box though our hotel the morning of our departure. Our drivers were very professional. They always on time and waiting with car door opened and bottled water available. Our tour guide Muhammed was professional, highly informed, polite and funny. He gave us a brief every morning on what we would be seeing and made sure he answered any questions we had. Not only did we learn about the history of ancient Egypt and the Pyramids and ancient Pharaohs but he also told us about the people, food, and culture of modern day Egypt. Our next five days were spent on a Nile Cruise with Abu Elmaged (Muhmmed) as our tour guide. We visited Luxor, Aswan and Abu Simbel. The Valley of the Kings was one of the high lights for me. To be able to see tombs over 4,000 years old was amazing. Ash was also very professional and highly informed. He would explain what we were seeing and how to read the cartouches. We spent our last day back in Cairo with Muhammed. We had planned to go to Alexandria, but the weather was so foggy the roads were closed. Muhammed quickly proposed a plan B. We spent the day seeing more of Islamic Cairo including some palaces and Mosques and back street, it was really an amazing idea. When our tour was over, I felt like we were leaving friends in Egypt. They were very accommodating with requests that were made throughout the booking process, including helping to book additional excursions, as well as offering options such as a day trip to Alexandria. They put together a great tour package and although we are sad not to have been able to go due to the circumstances Look at Egypt Tours provided our Partial REFUND.
