- PBPhoebe· June 1st, 2025Bobby was the most amazing tour leader, he was so organised and knew lots about the history and culture of Vietnam, while also being so funny and keeping us all entertained!! He definitely made our trip to Vietnam so much more special!!Show moreTrip date: May 2025
- MMeg· May 21st, 2025Phat is an amazing tour leader, he is so knowledgeable and made a great effort to ensure everyone had an amazing trip! He really enhanced my experience in Vietnam and made the whole trip so relaxing.Show moreTrip date: May 2025
- Jeremias· April 2nd, 2025Bobby was one of the best tour guides I've ever had. He was more of a friend than a leader to us. Since he grew up there, he knew everything. The trip was so well organized and relaxed thanks to him. He was always there to party and to join in, suggesting different themes to make the evenings even more fun. He told us so much information about the places, their history, and the past of Vietnam and the war, which was very interesting. He also always organized and suggested lots of cool optional side activities. I would book a trip with Bobby again in a heartbeat.Show moreTrip date: March 2025
- JJessica· April 1st, 2025This tour was absolutely amazing, being able to see all the cities and how different they all are. Even better to have a few nights here and there in more remote places surrounded by nature and the sea. Our tour guide Liam was the BEST and so helpful throughout the whole process. We could have a good laugh with him. I had no faults with this tour as everything was made so easy for me.Show moreTrip date: March 2025
- BSBrenda· January 26th, 2025My husband and I just finished Intro Travel’s 21 Day Vietnam/Cambodia Tour and had an AMAZING time! This was our second Tour booked with Intro Travel and we highly recommend it, giving it a full 5 star rating! The first part of the tour was the 12 day Vietnam Intro which was led by two exceptional Group Leaders - Bobby/Ka and Liam! The second part of the tour was the 10 day Cambodia Intro which was guided by the phenomenal Group Leader Seyha/Slaya (who was also assisted by our much loved Liam)! It was especially great having the two local Group Leaders (Bobby and Seyha), having lived in their respective country their whole lives, share their vast historical and cultural knowledge coupled with their own personal points of view. This greatly added to the overall authenticity of the tour and it was truly delightful to see how much they love their country! All three of our Group Leaders were very informative, continually keeping everyone up-to-date on timings and what we needed for each activity. They had boundless energy and enthusiasm going above and beyond to ensure everybody was safe and that our needs were always well addressed. It was clear to all of us how much Bobby, Liam and Seyha love their jobs! All of the activities were extremely well organized and expertly executed. Although my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed all of the activities, my most memorable are: cruising Ha Long Bay (actually brought me to tears…pictures don’t do it justice, it has be experienced in person); paddle boat ride in Ninh Binh (the rowers paddle using their feet and the caves are breathtaking); cooking class and lantern making in Hoi An; traditional cat fishing and teaching local children English at the Homestay in the Mekong Delta; visiting the S21 Prison and Killing Fields (while very emotional, critical to understanding Cambodia’s history); staying in Koh Rong Sanloem; taking the overnight bus to Seam Reap; visiting the temples of Angkor Wat, Bayon and Ta Prohm; playing Mafia with the group most nights; and our Karaoke nights (huge shout out Seyha…what a voice)! Another one of the key reasons for recommending to take this Tour is the opportunity to meet people from other parts of the world. On the Vietnam portion of the tour, in addition to Bobby and Liam, there were 23 members in our group ranging in age from early twenties to mid thirties with the exception of my husband and I, both of whom are 63. On the Cambodia portion, aside from Seyha and Bobby, there were 16 members (9 of us carried over from Vietnam plus 7 new members) with the same age range except the vast majority of this group were in their early to mid twenties. Despite being significantly older than everyone else (including the Group Leaders), my husband and I were widely welcomed and embraced by every single person! We can’t say enough about how much these wonderful, genuine, beautiful people touched our hearts! It was extremely difficult saying goodbye to our Intro Vietnam & Cambodia families and many of us shed tears! We are hopeful that they come to visit and stay with us on Vancouver Island! Thank you to each and every one of you for making our Tour so SPECIAL and UNFORGETTABLE!Show moreTrip date: January 2025

Asked on November 25th, 2024Is there anything for our age group? We cannot understand why the group catagory is 18-39? Our age group is 59, 62, 56, 61, 50 & 52.
- INTRO TravelOperator•Written November 2024
The majority of people on our tours are aged 18 to 40, but we regularly have people in their 40's and 50's travel with us and have an incredible time! We generally find that our Premium tours are well suited to those in their 50's/early 60's.

Traveler•Written December 2024We want to explore the best of both countries. We are not keen sporty people in the 50plus catagory and no swimming activites either. We do like to walk and explore sights.

Asked on October 14th, 2024Are there any recommendations for local taxi services?

While we don't have affiliated taxi services, Grab is a handy option similar to Uber in Vietnam.

Asked on October 12th, 2024is there a possibility for a single supplement option when it comes to accommodation? i mean that will exclude the overnight boats and trains and busses but does include the other days.
- INTRO TravelOperator•Written October 2024
We can certainly look into the possibility of a private room for you. However we do room you with someone of the same gender (excluding multi-share accommodation) and try our best to room you with someone of a similar age. Also Group Members are in their hotel rooms for a very limited time throughout the trip, as there are activities most days and things planned most evenings.

Traveler•Written October 2024can you specify the port of entry to Cambodia so i can finalize its eVisa application? the Vietnamese visa is already submitted, just making sure i finalize all legal documentations prior to paying for the tour. im assuming that the port of entry is Bavet (Svay Rieng Province) as its the only available option in the Cambodian visa website.
- INTRO TravelOperator•Written October 2024
Yes you will be able to select the option Bavet (Svay Rieng Province) for your visa application. Alternatively if you wish to do this at the border instead, then depending on your nationality you will receive a 30 day visa on arrival. The visa costs approx. $45 USD and you will need to provide 1 passport photo when you enter the country.

Asked on August 5th, 2024I'm wondering if there would be time to go to ba na hills da nang at any point on the trip. I was hoping to see it if possible and am wondering if there would be time to fit it in anywhere or not!
- INTRO TravelOperator•Written August 2024
You'll have a truly unforgettable journey to some of the most iconic destinations, with the perfect balance of adventure, culture, nights out and time to chill. I have spoken with the local team and they said that you will have enough time to visit the Golden Hand Bridge on day 8 after the cooking class but if you are looking to visit the colonial village, you wouldn't have enough time as it is quite a drive away from Hoi An. If you were really wanting to visit, you could look at skipping the cooking class and make a full day of it, however the cooking class is a massive highlight for a lot of people on the trip and it would be a shame for you to miss out on this!

Asked on July 9th, 2024Would it be possible for me to join the Cambodia leg of the tour?
- INTRO TravelOperator•Written July 2024
Yes absolutely, you guys will need to book separately as they are 2 stand alone tours, but we can definitely align your dates so that you are on the same Cambodia trip, then we can make your Group Leader aware so that you can be roomies throughout!
