I have done multiple trutravel tours. Peanut has been the best tour guide out of all of them. She has been amazing, so kind to everyone, made sure everyone felt safe and welcome, would always answer any questions we had, would help us if we had any problems, she made sure she knew what we were doing on a day to day basis. She made the tour and experience so much better because of the way she was.

I had to abandon my tour in Thailand mid-way due to a severe whiplash injury caused at Chiangmai Water Park in Thailand. The Trutravels tour guide gave us a form to sign but he did not give us the front section which outlined the risks of using the inflatables. He just hurried us all to sign a piece of paper which asked for our name & signature. Having failed to provide any safety briefing prior to entering the park, the park attendants also failed to give any safety briefing before I used the inflatable which caused my injury. The tour guide also tried to persuade me that I should not go to the hospital though he took me there when I insisted. After having seen a spinal cord specialist in Bangkok I was urged to return home. Back in the UK my specialist told me I am extremely lucky to be alive. The most upsetting part of this experience is that when I complained to TruTravels they wrote back saying that there is a comprehensive safety briefing by both their representative and also by the staff at the Water Park. This statement is an ABSOLUTE LIE. When I was escorted to the hospital in Bangkok, the TruTravels representative who went with me told me that they frequently have accidents at the Chiangmai water park which result in holiday makers being hospitalised. My advice to anyone considering booking a TruTravels holiday is DON'T. You may well be risking your life and they just don't care.

Without a doubt, Sonny and Peanut are the absolute perfect guides for the full moon tour. Their energy is immaculate for the party vibes, they're promptly organised , very caring, hilarious and they always go above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy, no matter what the ask is. This dynamic duo deserves their salaries doubled for outstanding quality of service 👏

Really enjoyed my time on the Thailand trip, got to experience many different things I wouldn’t have experienced if doing it solo. Our tour guides added to this experience and made it really easy for us, taking the stress out of travelling, especially with transport to and from activities. Ming was a lovely and fun tour guide and put all the travellers first. I hurt myself during the tour and had to go to hospital and then had to go to the hospital each day to get wounds checked and redressed, Ming came with me each day to make sure I wasn’t alone, which was really appreciated while being away from home and in a foreign country! The tour was really enjoyable and would definitely recommend

I had the best few weeks of my life travelling with tru travels. From the start our guides were warm, fun and knowledgeable. Everything was organised so seamlessly that I was amazed how much we saw and did in such a short period of time. There was a good mix of party, culture and adventure. I've made lifelong friends on this trip and I will definitely be booking another tour soon.

Ming and sonny have been great and done their best to make sure we were all safe and happy. There were a lot of instances where someone got cut or needed to go hospital and Ming and Sonny accompanied and looked after the individual. They always tried to partake in group activities and stayed up late with us when we went for drinks so created a good bond. Unfortunately the weather has been a little poor over the last few days but both Ming and Sonny did their best to ensure we still had a good time. Such nice your guides

We met Gorgi & Peanut for the northern & full moon Thailand tour. Both guides were very accommodating and explained everything in clear detail to help us understand the culture of Thailand. All my highlights of the trip included both guides, Gorgi organising the games to play at bottle beach, which included the full group and lifted the mood. It was Peanuts first tour and you wouldn’t of been able to tell! She was organising and constantly ensuring everyone in the group was happy. Highlight of my tour was having peanut on my back and dancing at the full moon party. Thanks for the best trip will miss you both. Highly recommend true travels ?

TruTravels The Northern Thailand Tour with Max and Tommy was a lifetime experience for me. I never thought about visiting the county before until friends asked me to join them in this TruTravels adventure, and all I can say is - that was one of my best decisions ever! The 14 days were fully packed with activities, and Tommy and Max organized everything so well, like magic hands in the background: The tickets for the sights, hotel room keys, transportation and much more. Can recommend that trout to absolutely anybody, great value for a small price compared to what you get. With tour guides such as these two it's much easier and you will see and do more than organizing everything on your own. And on top you get two new wonderful friends :)

In general, what I gather about TruTravels - am I correct in thinking this to be more of a TopDeck-type crowd. I know the age range states 18-45, and I I'm not really keen on being an age outlier (upper end).
