Day 1
Arrival in Riga
You'll arrive in Riga and get transferred to your hotel to check in. There's a welcome meeting to attend once you're settled, which gives you a chance to meet the group and learn about what's ahead. If you're interested, the hotel is offering an optional welcome dinner that evening, so you can either join everyone or take it easy after your travel.

Day 2
Riga Old Town Walking Tour & New Year Gala
Start the morning with a guided walking tour through Riga's Old Town, hitting the major sites like Riga Castle, Dome Cathedral, St. Peter's Church, and the Swedish Gate. You'll also see the Three Brothers and both the Large and Small Guilds, plus the Freedom Monument. After that, the afternoon is yours if you want to check out the Art Nouveau district on your own. By evening, there's a New Year Gala at the hotel with live music, dancing, and a dinner buffet to ring in the celebration.

Tour guide Kaspers excellent. Informative humerous professional. Lady tour guide however, forgot our group so we lost an hour of that tour and another time had to get a taxi to catch up

After a brief orientation regarding the actual tour operator Balticvision and a missed transfer from the airport, the trip went as it should. In addition to nice guides and local tours, we were able to get a first impression of Poland and especially the Baltic States. This tour makes you want more, especially Riga was very convincing.

Unlike the mass tour operators, Travel Addicts offers much more intimate tours with engaging local tour guides who have a real passion for the Baltic states. They are very focused on providing a tailored experience for tour participants. Also, they really care about their clients – I had an unforeseen issue arise that the Travel Addicts team resolved in a way that showed great character and genuine concern. Payment information
- For any tour departing before January 6th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after January 6th, 2026, a minimum payment of $170 is required to confirm your booking with Travel Addicts Club. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
