Itinerary

Arrival in Riga
A driver meets you at Riga airport and takes you to your hotel in the city center. Later in the evening around 7pm, there's a welcome meeting in the hotel lobby where you'll have a champagne cocktail or juice to kick things off.

Riga Old Town & Christmas Market
This morning you'll walk through Riga's Old Town with a guide, checking out Riga Castle, the Dome Cathedral, St. Peter's Church, and the Riga History and Navigation Museum. The tour wraps up at Old Town Hall Square where the traditional Christmas Market is set up for browsing. Afternoons are free to rest, though you can join an optional tour of the Art Nouveau district and museum if you want. After that, catch a performance at the Latvian National Opera House or check out the European Christmas Festival in the evening.

You've got the full day to explore on your own. Wander around the city and take in the Gothic spires that shape Riga's skyline. If you prefer something organized, there are a few optional activities you can book and pay for locally: the Riga Motor Museum (antique vehicles), a guided shopping tour through Old Town's design stores and fashion boutiques, or a farewell dinner.
