Luckily we were in the first category so we were happy with the packed itinerary. Our driver Hamid was very charming and helpful. The one thing we were not fully happy about was the quality of the accommodation. A couple of times we were put in places that hadn't been listed as a possibility on the tour itinerary, and we didn't find out until the last moment when we were dropped off there. At one of the locations we couldn't determine the name of it and the room was not up to the promised level. However we loved the accommodation on the last night in Essaouira, Riad Dar Sebta. I travelled with 5 more friends and had given them an excellent review of my earlier travel with Tour Radar. They agreed to do this trip with me on my recommendation. But the accommodations provided specially in Dades valley and Marrakesh was very very bad. Just thinking that Tour Radar can even think of offering such accommodation in a slum area stinking and below living conditions leaves me with shivers. It still feels like mental torcher when I think about it. We insisted on moving out immediately which was done. But Tour Radar must check accommodations as they promise will be best selected . It’s was a bad bad nightmare and experience. Hope they will note this for all their tours. We travellers select them with total trust and faith. Hoping for necessary action from your side. - Ccindy· February 27th, 2025Overall, we had a good time in Morocco. It was something new, different and refreshing and Morocco was not as we expected. There were some very exciting and interesting souks, gorgeous views and amazing experiences like stepping foot on the dunes of the Sahara. The tour itself - we were pretty much left on our own. We thought we would be having the services of a driver for at least 8 hrs a day, but that is not the case. We stayed mostly in riads and while some of them are pretty, they were a lot of climbs up and down. No elevators, some without heating /airconditioning, no cups/glasses, no tea/coffee making facilities. In the riad at Essaouira, we even had to carry our own luggage up to our rooms because there was only 1 girl working there. Definitely not a fun thing to do. The driver, Abdo Latif was very punctual, helpful and an excellent and safe driver. Felt totally safe in his hands even at the steepest & windiest roads. The guides - Amine in Fes was funny and knowledgeable. Hassan in Marrakesh was kinda arrogant and short tempered. It’s hard to know where to begin, but I have to say that this tour—and especially our driver, Mahmoud—made it absolutely spectacular. Mahmoud went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable, safe, and happy throughout the journey. He shared so much about Morocco’s rich history and patiently answered all our questions. If you get the chance to request Mahmoud, do it—he will make your trip unforgettable! We visited Marrakech, Merzouga, Ouarzazate, Fez, Chefchaouen, the Dades Valley, Volubilis, and countless hidden gems along the way. Every stop exceeded our expectations. As experienced travelers from Woodstock who spent over 110 nights in hotels last year, our standards are quite high—and this tour delivered in every way. Mahmoud drove us in a spacious and comfortable Toyota Prado TX, and he welcomed us like family. One of the highlights was visiting his home in the Rose Valley, where his hospitality and warmth truly embodied the Moroccan spirit. His kindness and generosity throughout the trip were unmatched. As for accommodations, we were blown away by the charm and quality of the riads we stayed in: Riad Soukaina in Marrakech, Riad El Palacio in Chefchaouen, and Riad Gabsi in the Dades Valley were all incredible. Each offered a unique and memorable experience. The Sahara Desert was breathtaking—an absolute must-see—and Fez, with its rich culture and history, became my favorite city. That said, every destination was extraordinary, and there wasn’t a single moment we didn’t enjoy. We also had city guides for Fez (Said) and Chefchaouen (Hazim), who were both fantastic. Another alternative is start the tour Sept 25 as per tour to return to Marrakesh from Essaouira for an extra night there and then get transfer to Marrkech airport the next morning on Oct 5. Again what would be the costa in Canadian funds for this option This would be our preference. If the listed hotel is not available, does one get the name of the alternative beforehand? Do you guarantee tour dates no matter number of bookings?

Recommended Option (Preferred by You): Add one extra night in Marrakesh after the tour ends. The first day of the tour (Sept 25) only includes airport pickup and hotel check-in, so there's no rush. The tour will finish in Marrakech on October 4. From there, we will transfer you to Marrakesh, where you can spend the night and relax before your departure the next day. Cost for 1 extra night in Marrakesh with airport transfer: $70 USD per person (~$95 CAD per person, depending on exchange rate).
