Although it stated an English speaking guide which was correct we had difficulty in communicating over comprehension. A lot was lost in translation. He was an excellent driver and was kind and thoughtful however we lost a lot through cross communication. Nevertheless it was a great tour and I would recommend it to anyone who can't imagine a bus trip which we couldn't. The local guides we had were absolutely fabulous and those tours were excellent. The Riads we stayed in were wonderful as were the people running them and we got the impression being fed is very important. We would recommend this company.Show more

Luckily we were in the first category so we were happy with the packed itinerary. Our driver Hamid was very charming and helpful. The one thing we were not fully happy about was the quality of the accommodation. A couple of times we were put in places that hadn't been listed as a possibility on the tour itinerary, and we didn't find out until the last moment when we were dropped off there. At one of the locations we couldn't determine the name of it and the room was not up to the promised level. However we loved the accommodation on the last night in Essaouira, Riad Dar Sebta. I travelled with 5 more friends and had given them an excellent review of my earlier travel with Tour Radar. They agreed to do this trip with me on my recommendation. But the accommodations provided specially in Dades valley and Marrakesh was very very bad. Just thinking that Tour Radar can even think of offering such accommodation in a slum area stinking and below living conditions leaves me with shivers. It still feels like mental torcher when I think about it. We insisted on moving out immediately which was done. But Tour Radar must check accommodations as they promise will be best selected . It’s was a bad bad nightmare and experience. Hope they will note this for all their tours. We travellers select them with total trust and faith. Hoping for necessary action from your side. Another alternative is start the tour Sept 25 as per tour to return to Marrakesh from Essaouira for an extra night there and then get transfer to Marrkech airport the next morning on Oct 5. Again what would be the costa in Canadian funds for this option This would be our preference. If the listed hotel is not available, does one get the name of the alternative beforehand?
