  1. Day 1

    Kathmandu

    You'll arrive in Kathmandu and head to your hotel, which sits near shops and restaurants. It's a straightforward transfer from the airport, so you can settle in and get oriented at a comfortable pace.

  2. Day 2

    Kathmandu to Taplejung

    Start early for the drive to Kathmandu airport, then take a domestic flight to Bhadrapur. From there, a jeep ride carries you through tea gardens to Taplejung, where you'll meet your trekking team and prepare gear for the next day.

  3. Day 3

    Fungling to Mitlung

    The trek kicks off from Fungling, taking you through cardamom fields and Alnus trees to Hangdewa village. You'll walk alongside the Tamor River banks afterward, ending at a camping site in Mitlung with kitchen and dining setup ready.

    Trek follows the Tamor River toward Furumbu village, then climbs uphill through mixed forest. After lunch at Siwa Bazar, the path continues to Tawa Village where you'll camp for the night.

    Pass Camp to Lumba Sumba Pass

    This is the toughest day of the entire trek. An early start gets you to Lumba Sumba Pass at 5200m before noon. The payoff is huge: panoramic views of Kanchenjunga, Jannu Himal, and Makalu ranges spread across the eastern Nepal horizon.

    Thudam to Kharka

    Kharka to Chyamthang

    Gola to Gadhi

    Descending into the lowlands, you'll trek through paddy fields with short ups and downs across agricultural land and small settlements. Pathibhara appears for lunch after about 2.5 hours, then the route continues through farming areas to Gadhi for the night.

    Gadhi to Tumlingtar

    • For any tour departing before February 3rd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after February 3rd, 2026, a minimum payment of 10% is required to confirm your booking with Mount Adventure Holidays Pvt.Ltd. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
