- BTBernd· April 4th, 2024Automatic translation available in English. View in EnglishI had a great trek on Annapurna with Bolram my guide. Right from the start, the support from the staff of "Himaliaya Heart Treks" was great. I didn't have to worry about anything. They also listened to suggestions and ideas. Among other things, we skipped a stage at the end to have an extra day in Pokhara. I was a little skeptical about booking directly with an agency in Nepal instead of through a tour operator in Germany. But the service was professional in all respects and I felt well looked after. Nepal is definitely worth a trip. The nature and the people there are simply incredible. I had a great trek and will definitely be back. - Maggie· January 7th, 2024We had a wonderful time doing the Annapurna circuit trek with our Himalaya Heart guide Hari. He was incredibly kind, helpful, and proactive, and made sure we had what we needed, while also protecting us from anything that could go wrong. I am so glad that we had him with us! The mountains were incredibly beautiful, and Himalaya Heart worked with us to let us not only do the Annapurna Circuit but to add on some additional hiking after. If you want anything specific or personalized, they will absolutely help you! It was airport-to-airport service, and truly eased our minds as we didn't have to worry about anything except getting our bodies up the hills. I believe that they also offer some great hike-free tour options too if that's more your speed!Show moreHimalaya Heart Treks & Expedition[P] Ltd commented on this reviewDear Maggie Thank you so much for your Great review about Annapurna Circuit Trek with Guide Hari Himalaya Heart Treks is always attention for our client’s safety; trip/tour as per schedule and accurately. - Michael· December 30th, 2023Hari, a great guide and good friend after over 2 weeks on the trail, guided my girlfriend and I on an epic trip around Annapurna - first the typical 8 day circuit ending with the Throng La pass, then after a rest at Tatopani hot spring, 6 more hiking days from to Dhompas (including Poon Hill). It was incredible! We went in December so there were hardly any other hikers on the trail and we had the mountains all to ourselves. Of course the weather was cold, but not bad if you are used to that sort of thing. Hari is an excellent guide who will enrich your experience in the mountains. He helped us customize our itinerary with suggestions we would never have known about otherwise. He was our guide on the trail, waiter and concierge at the guesthouses, trip planner, and reliable friend. He even took special care to advise us on food safety and check conditions in the kitchens (only possible in the off season). He took care of all our needs and whims. Really above and beyond what we expected from a guide!! Fully recommend him and Himalaya Heart.Show moreHimalaya Heart Treks & Expedition[P] Ltd commented on this reviewDear Michael Thank you so much for your Great review about Annapurna Circuit Trek with Guide Hari Himalaya Heart Treks is always attention for our client’s safety; trip/tour as per schedule and accurately. - PPierluigibruschetta· August 15th, 2019Anapurna Circuit with my son William and Hari&Team I am about to complete the Annapurna Circuit with my 13yo son, and I want to make sure I write this review before I go back to business and the moment gets lost. My wife and I made this same trekking ~15years ago, and we had a quite different experience. While Nepal maintains its beauty (and probably has improved significantly in terms of tourists support and facilities), our experience with Hari and his porters team and management company has been quite satisfactory, for instance compared to what we experienced a few years ago. Hari’s &Co. go the extra mile on a regular basis, as a standard operating procedure. Since the beginning we asked for flexibility in the plan. We are very fit and can trek quite effectively/ this for us meant to be able to change logistics according to the strength of the day. We asked for car service when more convenient, for no rest days, no acclimation days, extra horse carrying service for the pass, change of course, change of accommodation, change of flights, you name it. We got all with no blink, in really fast time and fashion. And all was done with the spirit of “business as usual”, extra is the usual. This is therefore resulting in a really customized experience - I have the feeling that we really stretched it to the maximum we could and that we really optimized our time here. Hari is knowledgeable, hard worker and really into service. He is genuinely concerned with every minute of his clients experience- whether this is meals, history and culture introduction, or physical condition and logistics, he shows a strong sense of commitment, client orientation and enthusiasm. I would strongly recommend hiring Hari and his team for a long trek in Nepal - he is an asset to the trip and a really enjoyable company. I will come back soon as my schedule allowsShow moreHimalaya Heart Treks & Expedition[P] Ltd commented on this reviewDear Pierluigibruschetta's We thank you so much for your valuable time to write review about Annapurna Circuit trek and about us. - Christian· June 1st, 2018I loved this trek. The Annapurna region is magical. We did the full loop and every day seemed different. The Himalayas were just beautiful. Shital was an excellent guide. He was able to get us the best tea houses and rooms with great views. My wife suffered from altitude sickness and Shital was a great asset getting the help she needed and care she needed. Because of this, we were able safely to complete the pass and beyond. We explored the area and completed a lot of extra hikes to explore the surroundings. This is by far the best experience I have ever had and look forward to trekking with Himalaya Heart Treks again in Nepal.Show moreHimalaya Heart Treks & Expedition[P] Ltd commented on this reviewDear Christian Wolters's We thank you, first of all, for managing your valuable time to write such kind words about us. and Annapurna round trek It is a pleasure to see that you feel this way about our service and the adventure we had together. Asked on October 5th, 2018What cultural differences should I be aware of when visiting Nepal?
- Himalaya Heart Treks & Expedition[P] Ltd Operator•Written October 2018
As a multicultural country, Nepal respects people of all faiths, creeds and cultures and definitely expects the same from the visitors too. There are no such restrictions or limitations on your activities, except those considered illegal and immoral. That being said, public displays of affection are somewhat unacceptable in Nepal, and in order to feel comfortable and attract fewer stares, females may wish to wear long sleeves, especially in more remote areas.
