We just finished a 12 day trip with Meet and Greet Italy. Our group of 10 was nothing but fantastic which made the trip that much better, but our tour guide Annamaria was outstanding!!!! We saw so many places and did so many things it was awesome! From Venice to Florence to Rome and Sorrento and many stops in between Pompeii, Tuscany, Sienna and others, this trip was a memory maker like no other. Annamaria was the most attentive tour guide we have ever had. She was great at keeping us informed of upcoming events and always available to assist with planning, scheduling and making recommendations. She is well known in the communities and clearly adored by all!! All travel excursions went smoothly from boat rides to trains to private vans, there were no hiccups. The lunch at the farm in Tuscany was absolutely breathtaking and the food was delicious. All the attractions we saw were beautiful. We had so much fun, saw so many beautiful sites and made friends along the way. Annamaria you are an outstanding tour guide and a beautiful person and we appreciate you!!! Thank you for all you do and for making our trip to Italy so wonderful!!! Five stars for sure!! XXOO

Annamaria was an amazing tour guide! She was so warm, organized and knowledgeable - our trip was virtually seamless and any little glitches were completely unforeseeable and outside of her control. She made our group of 10 feel like a family! The tour was well organized and comprehensive. All travel was seamless. We loved the boutique hotels in Murano, Florence and Sorrento. The farm in Tuscany and the cooking class in Sorrento were incredible! The crew at Meet and Greet Italy were immediately responsive to all our questions prior to departure and assisted with booking arrival and departure transfers as well as our side trip to Pisa. I would highly recommend this tour, Annamaria, and Meet and Greet Italy for anyone looking for an amazing Italy experience!

Great tour guide. Walks longer than anticipated, especially for 80+ year olds. Food was good, nothing to write home about. Sights and sounds were great!! Wouldn't sell this as a "train" trip", but transportation was always spot on. Hotels rooms a bit disappointing from shower stand point. When using a tub/shower concept, tub side way to high for an older person. Otherwise, accommodations were better than average. Going to Venice, Florence, Rome and Sorrento was a great way to see southern Italy. Three day stays was the way to go! Would use Tourradar again.

This trip was absolutely amazing and far exceeded our expectations! The accommodations were great and it was wonderful to have a breakfast provided every morning. We felt like we saw and did so much more than we would have planning the trip by ourselves. We had such unique experiences- the lunch at the organic farm in Sienna, visiting the blue grotto in Capri etc etc. our tour guide Anna-Maria was the very BEST! We can’t say enough positive things about her!! She was incredible and handled everything and everyone perfectly!! THANKYOU for the trip of a lifetime!! We’ll be back but definitely want AnnaMaria!!🥰🥰

Anna Maria was a wonderful tour of guide. She was patient and kind. She went above and Beyond helping anyone who needed it. She had great suggestions. We had a group of 28 and she miraculously was always able to make sure that everyone was present and accounted for. I will travel with meet and greet again, but only if I can make sure that I have Anna Marie as my tour guide.

October is a fantastic time to visit Italy, as the weather is usually very pleasant, not too hot, and not too cold. The visit to the Accademia Gallery in Florence to see Michelangelo's David is not included in the standard package, but it can be added as an optional activity on the second day in Florence which is a free day. Similarly, the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel tour is not included in the base package but can be added as an extra on thje secon day in Rome, as detailed in the itinerary. The cost for single occupancy is different from the per-person rate in a double room.
