Itinerary
- Day 1
La Paz
You'll land at El Alto International Airport and get settled into your La Paz hotel. After checking in, head out to see Plaza Murillo, the Cathedral, and the government palaces in the city center. The telef\u00e9rico cable car takes you up for views across the mountains and valleys surrounding La Paz. Wander through the traditional markets, including the Witches' Market where locals sell herbs and folk remedies. Before heading back, catch the surreal rock formations at Valle de la Luna as the light fades.

La Paz to Copacabana
You'll depart early for Tiwanaku, an archaeological site about an hour away. Walk through the ruins and see the Gateway of the Sun, various stone monoliths, and temples like Kalasasaya and Akapana. The site tells the story of the Tiwanaku culture and their connection to the Sun God Wiracocha and Earth Mother Pachamama. After grabbing lunch nearby, you'll head to Copacabana, a small lakeside town where you'll spend the night.

- Day 3
Copacabana to Isla del Sol
Start this morning in Copacabana by visiting the grand Cathedral and seeing the famous Virgen de Copacabana statue. A private boat takes you across Lake Titicaca to Isla del Sol. You'll explore the Inca labyrinth called Chinkana and get views of the snow-capped Illampu peak. After lunch by the lake, you'll check out the Temple of the Sun ruins, then hike for about an hour through the island's fields to reach your accommodation.

- Day 4
Isla del Sol to Isla de la Luna to La Paz
You'll head down the ancient Yumani Stairs to the lake's edge, then take a boat to Isla de la Luna. This island holds the ruins of the Palace of the Virgins, where young Quechua women were trained to become Inca wives. After exploring, head back to Copacabana for lunch, then travel back to La Paz by afternoon.

La Paz to Sajama
After 2.5 hours traveling north, you'll stop to see the chullpares, ancient funerary tombs built into the hillside. From there, visit Sixten Church in Curaguara to see large murals depicting biblical stories on the walls. Arrive in Sajama for lunch, then spend your afternoon checking out the geysers and soaking in the medicinal hot springs.

- Day 6
Sajama to La Paz
After breakfast, take a short walk to the que\u00f1ua forest nearby. Spend time relaxing at the hot springs again and soaking in the natural thermal waters. You'll grab a packed lunch and then head back to La Paz for the evening.

La Paz to Uyuni
You'll leave La Paz and climb into the Cordillera Real mountains, reaching about 4,640 meters with views of snow-capped peaks all around. After three hours, you descend into lush green valleys at 1,150 meters. The trek down the Death Road takes you past waterfalls, coca plantations, and colorful vegetation. Grab lunch in the charming mountain town of Coroico, then return to La Paz. That evening you'll catch an overnight bus heading to Uyuni in the remote southwest.

Arrival in Uyuni
You arrive at Salar de Uyuni and climb into a rugged 4x4 for the day. First stop is the Train Cemetery and the town of Colchani where you'll see how locals process salt from the flats. Then you'll drive 80 kilometers into the white salt expanse to reach Incahuasi Island, where giant cacti grow on a rocky hill. The views from up there show the vast salt sea and Tunupa Volcano. You'll spend time taking photos before heading to San Juan for the night.

- Day 9
High-Altitude Lagoons and Colorada Lagoon
Today you'll travel through high-altitude lagoons including Laguna Honda, Ramadita, and Hedionda, each one different from the last. You'll stop at the Siloli Desert and see the Stone Tree formation. By evening, you'll reach Colorada Lagoon for the night. The landscape here feels remote and peaceful, with nothing but desert and water for miles.

Sud Lipez to Uyuni
Wake up early and head to Laguna Colorada where red volcanic waters create an unusual landscape. You might see flamingos and other birds that live in this area. Next, you'll check out the geysers where hot steam and bubbling springs emerge from the earth. Soak in the natural thermal pools to warm up and relax. Before returning to Uyuni, visit the emerald-green Laguna Verde surrounded by rough Andes peaks. That evening catch the overnight bus back to La Paz.
