  1. Day 1

    Cairo

    Your representative meets you at Cairo International Airport and helps you through customs and baggage claim. A private air-conditioned vehicle takes you to your hotel in the city. Depending on when you arrive, you'll have time to relax, take in the views from your room, or have a welcome drink while your guide fills you in on travel tips and what to expect over the next two weeks.

  2. Day 2

    Cairo

    After breakfast, you'll head to the Giza Plateau with a private guide to see the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, plus the Great Sphinx. Lunch happens at a local restaurant with pyramid views. In the afternoon, the Grand Egyptian Museum shows you Tutankhamun's items and Queen Nefertiti's artifacts before you return to the hotel for the evening.

    Your private vehicle takes you to Alexandria, Egypt's Mediterranean coastal city. You'll explore the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa and the Qaitbay Citadel, then walk along the Corniche with sea views. After seafood lunch at a local spot, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is next before checking into your Alexandria hotel for the night.

    Alexandria to Cairo to Aswan

    You start with breakfast and then explore Al Montazah Palace Gardens, a former royal retreat with nice green spaces and Mediterranean views. Your vehicle takes you back to Cairo with a lunch break along the way. After freshening up at your hotel, you'll head to Cairo railway station to board an overnight sleeper train heading south to Aswan, with dinner served in your private cabin.

Later, you'll drift across the Nile on a white-sailed felucca, watching palm trees along the riverbanks. By evening, you'll check into your hotel or cruise ship and have sunset tea.

    You cross the Nile to explore Luxor's West Bank, starting in the Valley of the Kings with colorful tomb paintings belonging to powerful rulers including Tutankhamun. Next comes the Temple of Hatshepsut, carved into the Deir el-Bahari cliffs and built for Egypt's famous female pharaoh. The towering Colossi of Memnon get photographed on the way back. After freshening up, you'll board an overnight sleeper train to Cairo with dinner served as you travel.

Lunch happens at a traditional café, and you'll return to your hotel to rest before the final evening.

    • For any tour departing before May 23rd, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 23rd, 2026, a minimum payment of 90% is required to confirm your booking with Your Egypt Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 160 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
