What is the size of your tour groups? Do you have recommendations on making the flight/airline reservations? And would there be a airline discount associated with this tour company?

sadly there is no airline discounts associated. We recommend flying in and out of Munich one day before trip departure. The group traditionally meets in Munich that evening to have dinner before departure the next day for Berchtesgaden. The average group size is 14 people or less, and it is a TON of fun.

Do you cap the number of tour participants? I just don't want to be involved in a huge group like some tour companies do. 14-ish sounds great. My birthday is December 6th...this would be a hilarious way to celebrate! What else would you like for me to know about this tour package?

    • All Things GarmischOperatorWritten April 2022

We do cap the group at 14 maximum. It is a very laid back tour. We like to set up a few zoom calls before hand to make sure everyone is on the same page. Then we meet up in Munich downtown for dinner and walking tour on the evening of the 4th. The 5th we make our way to Berchtesgaden. We also go to Salzburg for one evening so you can experience two different versions of Christmas markets and of Krampus. We also head into the Salt Mine which is really cool!
