Angkor Wat
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll head out with your guide to explore the Angkor complex. The morning takes you through South Gate of Angkor Thom, then to Bayon Temple with its famous stone faces, followed by Baphuon Temple, Phimeanakas, the Terraces of Elephants and Leper King, Ta Nei, and Ta Prohm (the Tomb Raider Temple). Lunch comes at a local restaurant around midday. From there, you'll move to Angkor Wat, the world's largest religious monument, where you'll spend the afternoon exploring before catching the sunset over the temple.

Siem Reap Cultural Sites
You'll grab breakfast, then head to the pier for a private boat cruise on Tonle Sap Lake, Southeast Asia's largest freshwater lake and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. A scenic floating village gives you a look at how people live on the water with homes, schools, markets, and churches all built right on the lake. Your guide will explain fishing traditions and the seasonal flow reversal of the Mekong River. Siem Reap to Battambang
After breakfast, you're heading to Battambang, Cambodia's second-largest city. On the way, you'll stop at Angkor Silk Farm to see how traditional Khmer silk gets made, from growing mulberry plants through weaving and dyeing. Next comes Banteay Chhmar, a remote 12th-century temple near the Thai border with calm bas-reliefs and face sculptures. You'll arrive in Battambang in the late afternoon, check into your hotel, and have the evening free to walk around the riverfront area.

Battambang to Phnom Penh
After breakfast, you're leaving Battambang and heading to Phnom Penh with several stops along the way. Pursat's stone carving village shows you traditional marble sculptures and Buddha carvings being made. Kampong Chhnang pottery village comes next, where artisans use centuries-old methods to handcraft clay pots and you'll see floating homes. Climbing Oudong Mountain, the former royal capital, lets you visit sacred stupas with countryside views all around. Lunch happens somewhere along the route, then you'll continue to Phnom Penh at the confluence of the Mekong and Tonle Sap rivers. Check in and have the evening to yourself.

After breakfast, your English-speaking guide will meet you for a historical tour covering Cambodia's recent past. You'll start at Cheung Ek Genocide Center (the Killing Fields) to learn about the Khmer Rouge regime from 1975 to 1979. Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum comes next, a former high school turned interrogation center, where you'll see prison cells and documentation. Following lunch, you'll explore the Royal Palace with its gleaming Silver Pagoda that contains over 5,000 silver tiles and the Emerald Buddha. Kampong Thom, known as Cambodia's stone carving capital, shows you artisans creating intricate sandstone sculptures using traditional techniques. Phnom Kulen National Park
After breakfast, your guide takes you to Phnom Kulen National Park, north of Angkor, known as the sacred mountain and birthplace of the ancient Khmer Empire. The winding roads lead to Poeng Ta Kho with cliffside views all around. You'll see the largest reclining Buddha statue in Cambodia, carved into a natural sandstone boulder inside a serene Buddhist monastery. The River of 1000 Lingas comes next, where sacred Hindu symbols are etched into the riverbed from over a thousand years ago.
