    Well-organized trip, competent and attentive guide, well-chosen accommodations, interesting places. What's missing, however, are encounters with "real" Colombian life: musical evenings, initiation to dance, specific arts... The group went to bed incredibly early!

    Would like to book one double room for one traveler, and the other traveler would prefer to share a room with another solo traveler. Could you confirm if this is a guaranteed departure?

      This trip is guaranteed to depart and we can book a single supplement for one traveler and make arrangements for the other traveler to be roomed in a twin share (with a traveler of the same gender). We are pleased to offer a complimentary hold on the trip for 48 hours, after which a deposit of 1200 is required to confirm your space.

      The official currencies of Panama are the Panamanian Balboa (PAB) and the US dollar (USD). You can pay with major credit and debit cards at many hotels, restaurants and stores. You can use major credit cards and some debit cards to withdraw USD from ATMs and over the counter at banks.

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before October 10th, 2025 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after October 10th, 2025, a minimum payment of $400 is required to confirm your booking with Intrepid Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Intrepid Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
    • The following cards are accepted for "Intrepid Travel" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
