Fantastic guide, itinerary, accommodations. Guide accommodated all, from the uber-trekker who wanted and was capable to do more, to the person who needed to take a break from some segments, to the rest of us who trekked the original plan.

    Asked on March 26th, 2025

I have some clients who are very interested in a tour that involves hiking the Dolomites to Lake Garda. Is Lake Garda one of your destinations or is it possible to add a stay there for a couple nights on the back end? This is a family of 5, with 2 parents and 3 adult children. Are there any hotel rooms that have 3 beds for the adult children, or 2 beds and a couch? Is June 2026 available for booking yet?

Lake Garda is not included in our 11-day program, but it's just an hour's drive from Verona, the starting and ending point of the trip. Adding an extension to visit the lake is a great way to enhance your experience. A triple-share room for the children can also be arranged.

The children are actually adults traveling with their parents. They will be 20, 22, and 23 at the time of travel. Is your tour company able to arrange transportation to Lake Garda as well as accommodations after the tour?

    • No Roads ExpeditionsOperatorWritten March 2025

We are happy to assist in arranging transportation to Lake Garda and in booking accommodation.

    Asked on August 20th, 2023

I would like more detail on the Explorer tour of the Dolomites. I am unclear if you stay in the one hotel for the entire hike. Or do you stay in different hotels each night? Can you please provide more detail on this. Also, does the tour include all meals, transportation, cable, bike costs etc...

I sent a query just now and forgot to ask what is the extra day version with a stay on the mountain in a refugio? I would like to organise a phone call so I can ask more questions. I am based in Perth Australia. Where is the office so I can figure out time zones.

    • No Roads ExpeditionsOperatorWritten August 2023

Re Refugio, this is an option for people. Most people take this up as it gives them a night in a wonderful Refugio, the feeling of being in the mountains. However, it is dorm-style. That is why we keep your room available down in the valley so if you decide not to stay in the Refugio you can hike back down to the hotel we stay at for the whole time.
