Knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and genuinely lovely people. The hotels were pretty good for 3 star but there were a couple I wish I’d upgraded for the pool option (it’s such a bonus to be able to plop into the pool after a long, hot, busy day). I met some great people along the way and felt very well looked after the whole trip. - VVialy· August 20th, 2022Great & Memorable Vietnam - Laos Trip!!! My fiancé and I have joined the Ha Long Bay cruise. The room and food are nice. Besides, Garden Bay Legend Cruise Manager, Mr Lam and the crews have served us well. Other than that, Hanoi City Tour tour guide, Mr Hung has done a great job by providing detailed information on attractions and took good care of us. We will definitely choose to stay in Angel Palace Hotel again when we go to Hanoi next time. The location is strategic as Hoan Kiem Lake, restaurants and variety of shops are in walking distance. However, rooms on top floor may be a little bit noisy. Gentle reminder: don't expect too much yet expect to give tipping if you plan to do the massage available in the hotel. Part of Laos is quiet country they are. Luang Prabang is the best place for long stay! We wish if we could come back here. We will stay longer, 1 to 2 weeks but just wishing! It was our first time to Hanoi and we enjoyed it thoroughly, especially the Ha Long Bay Cruise.Tony was meticulous in his explanation and our lady guide (didn’t quite catch her name) took good care of us. Everyone on the cruise gave exceptional service throughout the trip. However, some of the activities were not ‘senior citizen’ friendly and this should have been clarified. We would also have preferred a bigger room on the cruise (paying extra, of course) but the option was offered freely to upgrade. Ho Chi Minh City is very busy, good city to chillout! Luang Prabang is so different from my thoughts before going! It`s so nice, peaceful place for long stay! I wish I could come back to stay one or two week! Asked on June 17th, 2024Tour says it starts in Ho Chi Minh and ends in Luang Prabang but on the itinerary it shows the Start point airport pickup as Hanoi and the final one as Vientiane, Laos. I'm confused as to whether I should by tickets to Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh to begin the tour? Do we need to find our own way between Vientiane and Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh to fly home?
