Killarney
You'll arrive in Killarney and check into Abbey Lodge B&B. This town sits right between three lakes, so there's plenty to explore on your first evening. Walk through the town center, grab dinner at one of the local restaurants, and if you're in the mood, catch some live music at one of the pubs.

Landmarks Killarney - Day 2
Killarney to Cahersiveen
After a transfer to just outside Glenbeigh, you'll walk along the northern shores of the peninsula heading toward Cahersiveen. The route follows an old 17th century stage coach path through quiet villages. You'll see across to the Dingle Peninsula the whole time, with Rossbeigh Strand and Inch Beach coming into view.

Cahersiveen to Waterville
A short transfer gets you to Coars Cross where you'll walk across to Waterville. From here you can see north toward the Dingle Peninsula and south across to Kenmare Bay. The route maps and notes help you navigate, so orientation is straightforward.

Waterville to Caherdaniel
Walking from Waterville, you'll head around and above the coast on your way to Caherdaniel. The whole route gives you coastal views toward the Skellig Islands and Ballinskelligs Bay. This section is particularly nice for the seascapes.

Caherdaniel to Sneem
Continuing from Caherdaniel, you'll follow an old butter road that leads to Sneem. Along the way there are great views across toward the Beara Peninsula and out to the Atlantic. It's a nice section with a lot of water views.

Sneem to Kenmare
In the morning, a transfer takes you to Tahilla Church just outside Sneem, then you walk into Kenmare. The route goes along the shores of Kenmare Bay with the Beara Peninsula and Caha Mountains visible across the water the whole time.

Kenmare to Killarney
Starting from your accommodation, you'll walk through Esknamucky Glen and into Killarney National Park. The route goes to Muckross House and Gardens, about 5 kilometers out from town. You can explore the house and grounds before heading back into Killarney. Keep an eye out for red deer, which are native to Ireland and sometimes appear on this walk.
