- Emile· January 17th, 2025We did the 19 day tour South African explorer with Nomad and just like the first time in 2010 I traveled with them there is only one comment possible Great. Not only was the tour perfect but the tour guides Goodnes and Dennis did their job in an exceptionally passionate way.Show more

Traveler•Written March 2024Four people will be traveling together. Three are able-bodied, one can walk with some support from one of us or with a walker. Does this safari require much walking on uneven terrain?
- Nomad Africa Adventure ToursOperator•Written March 2024
For day 1, 2 and 4 there is not a lot of walking involved (at the campsite where you stay from where the trucks are parked you do walk but the terrain is not very much uneven and is on gravel terrain, however on day 3 there is quite a bit of walking involved on uneven terrain as you visit the panorama route, for Three Rondavels and Bourke's Luck Potholes you walk on rocky terrain which are uneven and a bit slippery sometimes and for God's Window there are quite a few stairs to climb to get the full picture (you dont need to go up all the way as there is other look out points as well) but the best view is from the top but the other look out points is just as beautiful. You are still more than welcome to join the trip, and if you dont seem up for the walk more than welcome to stay behind at the truck or maybe take a small walk to where you feel you comfortable and safe.
