Katharina· November 24th, 2024Langtang Valley Hiking and Yoga Trek was a great experience we won't miss! Everything was well organized, before we started our trip to Nepal, we've been in frequent contact with Bish from Himalayan Recreation. The tour was specially customized for us to make this trip as great as possible. Thank you for the organization and support beforehand. During our trek we were acommpanied by an experienced mountain guide and porter. From the very first day it felt like traveling with good friends. Our mountain guide and yoga teacher Anil was very knowledgeable, he not even guided us safely through Langtang Valley, but also gave us a deep cultural inside, which made this trek to a memorable experience. Thank you to Anil and Tibesh for teaching us this fun nepali card game which was the perfect eveneing entertainment program during our trek. To complete our tour we additionally spent two days in Chitwan National Park which was a scenic and cultural contrast to Langtang Valley. The accommodation and jungle activities were organized in advance by Himalayan Recreation. The transfers from Kathmandu to Langtang, Langtang to Chitwan and Chitwan to Kathmandu were also organized in advance by the agency. Everything went smoothly and we felt that we were in good hands. For accommodation, you'll be staying in comfortable tea houses along the route, which are similar to small lodges. They offer basic but cozy rooms and meals during your trek. As for your bags, our porter will carry your main luggage with all the necessary items, and you'll just need to carry a small day bag with essentials for the hike.
