Each day was different and well organized. Our Safari explorations were lead by knowledgeable guides (Smiley, Nadine, Raymond, Rocky, and Victor). Passionate about their work, they showed us the magnificent Kruger park and its surrounding game reserves. Highly recommend the morning bush walk as one of the highlights. It all was an unforgettable experience, we miss it already!Show more

The lodge is situated within a nature reserve so loud noise, music, fireworks etc are not permitted. We usually arrange a barbecue and the guests and staff sit and chat around the fire waiting for midnight.

Unfortunately lots of noise is not permitted inside the reserve, so the celebrations are muted and there are no fireworks etc. We usually have a barbecue and sit around the fire chatting etc waiting for the New Year to arrive :)
