What people love about Thailand Tours for Couples
- River Kwai & Ancient Thai Kingdoms
Loved this part of the tour. We were well looked after, fitted loads in and still had time to relax - Just what I needed as a follow on trip to my main trip.
- Thai Island Hopper West (Standard)
The trip was very easy paced but had plenty of optionals to keep you discovering and exploring more. Our tour manager Lee was down to earth, always offering help even after the tour was officially over. Lee was very organised, took the time to get to know each individual on the trip and had extremely well rounded knowledge of the country, it's culture and the sights. She was a superb manager and I couldn't have asked for anyone better!
- Sailing Thailand - Phuket to Ko Phi Phi
This tour was the highlight of my trip to Thailand. The scenery was beautiful. The snorkelling was amazing. Everyone on the boat was lovely including the crew and all passengers. Our guide "A" was very knowledgeable about the area. He chose the best places to go at the best times so we usually had the sites to ourselves and he chose wondrous places for snorkelling. The scenery below the water was even more breathtaking than above. My cabin was very comfortable, the mattress was better than any hotels I stayed at on this trip. I can't fault this trip at all.
What our customers ask about Romantic Thailand Trips & Honeymoon Packages
What's the ideal length for a romantic Thailand trip?
A trip of 8-10 days hits the sweet spot for most couples visiting Thailand. This gives you time to see several places without feeling rushed. An 8-day trip lets you explore the beautiful beaches of Phuket, relax on Koh Phi Phi, and enjoy Krabi's coastline. If you want to head north, plan 5-6 days to see Chiang Mai's temples, the ancient ruins of Sukhothai, and the historic sites of Ayutthaya. One traveler on TourRadar said "8 days gave us perfect time to explore and still have romantic downtime at places like the Imperial River House in Chiang Rai."
When is the best time of year for a couples' trip to Thailand?
Each region in Thailand has its own perfect season. If you're heading to beach spots like Phuket or Koh Phi Phi, book between November and April when the weather is sunny and dry with temperatures around 82°F (28°C). The northern areas like Chiang Mai are most comfortable from October to February, with pleasant temperatures around 75°F (24°C). A TourRadar traveler shared that "visiting Sukhothai Historical Park in December was perfect - cool enough for daytime exploration and romantic evening walks."
What are the most romantic destinations in Thailand for couples?
You'll find plenty of romantic spots throughout Thailand. Koh Phi Phi offers peaceful beaches perfect for couples, while Chiang Mai's temples like Wat Doi Suthep provide a cultural backdrop for romance. In Phuket, you can stay at places like the Dusit Thani Krabi Beach Resort. Many couples on TourRadar love taking boat rides through Bangkok's quiet canals, watching the sun set at Railay Beach in Krabi, or spending time together at the seven-level Erawan Waterfalls in Kanchanaburi.
What unique experiences can couples enjoy in Thailand?
Thailand offers so many special experiences for two. You can take a private cooking class in Chiang Mai, enjoy dinner while cruising on Bangkok's Chao Phraya River, or get a couples massage at places like the Aonang Fiore Resort in Krabi. A TourRadar traveler shared: "The candlelit dinner at The Jungle Raft Hotel in Kanchanaburi was incredibly romantic - you can even jump into the river directly from your room!" Don't miss having a private picnic on a Phuket beach or trying a traditional Thai massage together.
What are the most romantic dining experiences available in Thailand?
You'll find endless options for romantic meals in Thailand. Try fresh seafood right on the beach in Krabi, or eat with a view at Century Park Hotel's rooftop in Bangkok. Many couples enjoy traditional khantoke dinners in Chiang Mai, sunset meals at Khanom Cabana Beach Resort, or private barbecues on Koh Phi Phi's beaches. One TourRadar traveler mentioned that "the candlelit dinner at Imperial River House overlooking the Mekong River was absolutely magical for our anniversary celebration."
What cultural activities are recommended for couples?
Thailand's rich culture offers many intimate experiences for couples. You can explore Ayutthaya's temples together, learn to cook Thai food in Chiang Mai, or take an evening food tour through Bangkok on a Vespa. TourRadar travelers often recommend visiting Chiang Rai's White Temple at sunrise and joining traditional Buddhist ceremonies at temples like Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. These shared cultural experiences create lasting memories for couples.
