What people love about touring Sicily solo
- Sicilian Secrets - Tour of Sicily 6 days
We had a great experience. The history and culture of Sicily is amazing. Our tour guide, Vittoria, was very knowledgeable and interesting. She certainly loves Sicily. The hotels and food exceeded our expectations.
- Sicilian Secrets - Mini Tour of Sicily 5 days
The guide is very professional. The overall tour in Sicilia is so impressive. Overall the agenda every day was well managed and we really enjoy the whole trip
- Sicilian Secrets – Tour of Sicily & Aeolian Islands
Placido was a great guide, knowledgeable & well organised with much patience! The hotel in Catania was the least desirable of all of them but there were a couple of above average ones (Agrigento & Taormina). Food options & quality varied a bit also. Nothing was terrible but some were very average. The pace of the tour was quite fast but I’m glad we were able to see so much of Sicily - the architecture & history was amazing! For the cost ( I utilised the single supplement to have a room of my own) I think the tour was good value for money - there’s no way I could do that much any other way. It might be a good idea to alert people that they may pay up to €30 extra per person per day for admission costs. I didn’t think the extra was exorbitant but some people like to factor that into their costs.

What is the typical cost of single supplements on Sicily Islands tours?
The cost of having your own room on Sicily tours ranges from $290 to $450. This price varies based on when you travel and the hotels used. The historic areas of Taormina Syracuse's Ortigia district and Palermo welcome solo visitors with easy-to-navigate streets outdoor cafes and vibrant evening life. As one TourRadar traveler noted: "Ortigia was my favorite - the little island was very manageable and Hotel Livingston was fantastic.
