Wander through the historic center and shop along Via Etna, then relax in the public gardens. The Roman Amphitheatre and Castello Ursino museum are worth checking out if you have time. Before dinner, browse the lively fish market near the cathedral. - Day 2
Siracusa
Drive to Siracusa and check in to your hotel. Head to the historic Ortigia district and start at the Cathedral of Siracusa, built on ancient Greek temple ruins. You'll find the Fountain of Arethusa nearby, and from there walk to the Temples of Apollo. Grab lunch at one of the local spots, then browse the vibrant Ortigia Market for local specialties. - Day 3
Scicli - Marzamemi
Drive to Scicli and visit Palazzo Beneventano to see the baroque architecture, then tour the Chiesa di San Bartolomeo. Stroll along Via Francesco Mormino Penna where baroque palaces and churches line the street, and eat lunch at a local eatery serving traditional Sicilian food. Vendicari Nature Reserve
Start your morning at the Vendicari Nature Reserve Visitor Center to get maps and learn about the local flora and fauna. Walk through the Tonnara di Vendicari ancient tuna processing plant, then head to Vendicari Beach where the waters are clear and sand is pristine. You can relax there or hike the various nature trails depending on your energy level. Later, make your way to Panto Grande lagoon to look for flamingos, herons and other birds, particularly if you're visiting during migration seasons. If time allows, visit the nearby Tonnara di Eloro tuna processing plant, and finish your day watching the sunset from scenic viewpoints.

Modica to Ragusa
