In 13 days we did Tokyo, Fujikawaguchiko, Kamakura, Kyoto, Nara, Odawara, Hiroshima, Miyajima Island, Hakone, Osaka. Almost exclusively subways and bullet trains which made the experience unique. I chose the single room supplement option, and every hotel was clean and convenient. Absolutely worth it, pack light and bring your best walking shoes.Show more

The final accommodation, Arrow Hotel, was old, poor dining options and would not give out more than one key to a room. The person who I shared the room with and I had to coordinate ourselves having access by leaving the key at the desk or asking the desk to open the room door. There were also issues with checking in. The hostels were cleaner and offered more options than the Arrow hotel. Something closer to the final dinner location would have been better. We looked at options near the final dinner area and found several stay options that would have been much better. All of our trips are intended for solo travellers! The majority of our guests that travel with us have never met each other before, but usually end up making friends for life. I'm afraid the dates for November have no more availability. If you can be flexible with dates, we might be able to fit you onto one of the following dates: 13-Oct-25, 20-Oct-25, 27-Oct-25. Your travel companion will have to complete our Tour Suitability Form which is a form to help them understand the type of trip they will be joining and to help us understand if we think he'll be a good fit for the trip.

The age range for this trip is 18-55, but we can sometimes be flexible. Your sister might not be allowed to stay in the hostels which means you might have to upgrade to a private room. She might also not be allowed to join all activities due to age restrictions.

An alternative option would be for them to join our 12-Day Japan Family Adventure through Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Beyond. This trip can accommodate guests aged 7-70. But this trip is only operated in English.
