What people love about USA Tours in April
- Death Valley Day Tour from Las Vegas- Small Groups TourYesterday my husband and I went on the day tour of Death Valley. All I can say is awesome!!! Our tour guide, Michael, was not only extremely knowledgeable, he was very personable and easy and fun to be with. Great tour, I highly recommend it, especially if Michael is your guide!!!
- Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend and Lake Powell Small Groups Overnight TourVery nice Tour! Chloe was a so nice Guide. She told us so much Informations on this 2 days trip. The views were overwhelming. We can nothing say more than thank you and wish to meet her again as Guide on our next tour.
- 7 Day Southwest National Parks Grand Canyon Camping Tour"Zion, Bryce, Arches, Canyonlands, Monument Valley and Grand Canyon all in one trip, you can't go wrong, each place has so many unique things to see. My favorite thing was the helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon, you get to see the South and North Rim and you just cannot imagine the beauty, it was an emotional and spiritual experience. Vern was our Expert Team Leader and we all found him to be Intriguing, Engaging, Larger than Life and so much Fun. I would love to take another journey with him. No one was left behind and I believe our experienced hikers were challenged. Our group was Amazing. You get to take a slice of each park with you and will have you yearning for more. My husband and 11 year old son have memories they will never forget. I was skeptical about camping but it was so much fun, and the food was delicious, Vern was an excellent cook as well. Still amazed at how smooth and organized everything was. Miles was new and was a great help with everything. Don't forget to bring a rain coat/rain cover, we did get weather but we all were prepared.A must see for all lovers of nature, can't stop thinking about this trip. My least favorite thing was leaving.
What our customers ask about USA Tours in April 2026
- What are the best national parks to visit in USA during April?- The southwestern national parks offer their best conditions in April right before peak season begins. You'll find pleasant temperatures and fewer visitors at Zion Bryce Canyon and Grand Canyon National Parks. The desert parks like Death Valley and Joshua Tree are also at their most accessible before the intense summer heat sets in. According to a recent TourRadar traveler on their G Adventures tour: "Visiting Zion in April was amazing - the waterfalls were flowing strong from spring snowmelt and the trails weren't crowded." For the full park experience book a stay at classic lodges like The Lodge at Bryce Canyon or Zion Lodge.
- What hiking opportunities are available in USA national parks during April?- The mild April weather creates good conditions for hiking across the national park system. Popular trails include Angels Landing at Zion Rim Trail at Bryce Canyon and the Mist Trail in Yosemite. As one TourRadar traveler on G Adventures' Southwest tour reported: "The April weather was perfect for tackling longer hikes like Queens Garden in Bryce Canyon - not too hot or crowded." Tour operators like Bindlestiff offer guided hikes for various abilities with stays at properties such as Lake Powell Resort that provide direct trail access.
- How crowded are USA national parks in April?- Visitor numbers in April sit comfortably between the quiet winter season and busy summer months. Major parks like Yellowstone and Yosemite can be explored without the peak season crowds. A TourRadar traveler who joined Trafalgar's Western Frontiers tour shared: "April was ideal - we could enjoy spots like Old Faithful and Bryce Canyon's amphitheater without fighting crowds." Iconic lodging options like Yosemite Valley Lodge and the El Tovar Hotel at Grand Canyon have better availability than summer months.
- What is the price range for USA national park tours in April compared to peak season?- Tours in April cost about 15-20% less than summer rates with daily prices ranging from $275-450. A good example is G Adventures' 7-day Southwest National Parks tour priced at $3099 in April compared to $3599 in July.
