What people love about Turkey Tours in November
- Best of Turkey Tour
Really glad I booked this tour with Fez to go around Turkey. The guide was really great and helpful especially with the transfers mess that happened with my departure transfer. The company messed up my transfer and Genghis organized with the office so that I didn't miss my flight and he was still carrying on with the second part of the tour. Turkey is so beautiful and there is lots to see and do.
- Fire of Anatolia Tour
Very well organized tour. I was lucky to be in a very small group (3 persons); it was almost a private tour. They honored all what they advertised; we visited all the sites mentioned in their brochure. Hotels were very good to excellent. Whenever we had any small problem the guide would intervene to solve it. I highly recommend this tour (in Turkey). I went to another tour with Fez in Greece and the Balkans, they deal with a local agency in Macedonia, it was much less well organized.
- 5 Days - Western Turkey Explorer
The sites and guides were great! The hotels all two star and every tour had a sales pitch stop. The sales pitches were educational, but nothing we were interested in. The tour should cost a bit more with better accommodations. Again, the guides and the places we visited were exceptional.
What our customers ask about Turkey Tours in November 2025
What is the weather like in Turkey during November?
Turkey's weather in November shows distinct regional patterns. Istanbul sees temperatures around 15°C/59°F with occasional rain while Cappadocia stays around 10°C/50°F with clear skies. The Mediterranean coast near Antalya keeps a pleasant 20°C/68°F. According to TourRadar travelers "Winter starts to set in but historical sites like Hagia Sophia and the underground cities of Cappadocia can still be comfortably explored." Hotels like Hideaway Hotel in Kas and Arte Cave Hotel in Cappadocia provide comfortable shelter from the cooler temperatures.
Are hot air balloon rides available in Cappadocia during November?
Balloon rides run regularly in November depending on weather conditions. Flights take off early between 5:30-6:30 AM near hotels such as MDC Cave Hotel. Travelers should book ahead through their guide. As one TourRadar guest shared "The hot air balloon ride over the snow-dusted landscapes of Cappadocia was absolutely magical in November."
What should I budget for a trip to Turkey in November?
Seven to twelve-day tour packages cost between 965 USD and 2599 USD with most priced around 1500 USD per person. This covers stays at places like Golden Age Hotel Istanbul or Arte Cave Hotel Cappadocia plus domestic flights and guided tours. Plan for extra costs: attraction entry fees (about 100 USD total) hot air balloon rides (300-350 USD) and meals outside the tour package.
What are the accommodation options like in Turkey during November?
November brings lower rates and good availability across Turkey's accommodations. Upscale properties like Sura Hagia Sophia Hotel in Istanbul and smaller venues like Efe Boutique Hotel in Kusadasi reduce their prices. Cappadocia's cave hotels including Temenni Evi provide particularly warm settings. Guests often mention the added winter amenities many hotels offer such as heated pools and indoor spaces.
What dining experiences are recommended in Turkey during November?
The cooler weather creates perfect conditions for Turkish winter specialties including mercimek çorbası (lentil soup) and salep (hot orchid root drink). Hotels like Gamirasu Cave Hotel feature seasonal menu items. A TourRadar visitor noted "The cozy restaurants and hot Turkish tea were especially welcoming during cool November evenings."
What are the best day trips from Istanbul in November?
The moderate temperatures of November make exploring Gallipoli battlefields and Troy ruins particularly pleasant. Staying at Sirkeci Mansion Hotel guides suggest taking a Bosphorus cruise noting that "November offers clear views and fewer crowds on the water." Food and wine tours to regions like Sirince village benefit from the mild autumn weather.
