Fabulous tour. Tour ALTINKUM were very responsive to any questions and always informed us what was happening in good time. The arrangements were excellent and the tour guides so knowledgable. Sergen (our guide for Ephesus and Parmukale) was exceptional. Thank you all for a great trip. Can’t fault it in anyway; I’d highly recommend the trip and the tour company.

The first night at Celal Sultan hotel was very bad due to the room was new painted with oil base paint. I was very sick with bleeding nose and spat throat who’s lasted almost the whole tour. I had to skip the first day in Istanbul to get some rest. The tour to Cappadocia was amazing so was the hotel, staff and amazing breakfast that is thought of and organised by the hotel. The guide was very good, knowledgeable and caring. The second tour to Pamukelle was great apart from the long waiting in two airports and two flights to get at destinations at around midnight. The hotel room was not prepared, pillows without cases, ripped dovet covers(photos can be provide). Brekefast was in a dark bar with very unpleasant staff member who was unwelcoming and not interested in what she was doing. The tours guide was very knowledgeable and he ought to be commended on well done tours. The busted sights were extremely beautiful and wished we could have stayed longer in the mineral lakes. Thank you, Dr Huda Al-Tamimi

Magnificent Turkey is truly magnificent. I took this tour from May 26, 2023 to June 2, 2023, a woman, and a single traveller from Canada. Sites are amazingly beautiful, so much history. People are very polite, polite, helpful and hospitable, almost everyone spoke English, food was excellent, hotels were in great location, walking distance to everything. On each new location I visited there were from all over the world. The tour organization was above and beyond my expectations. I received daily personalized messages tracking my every day activities and letting me know of the schedule for the next day. I don’t know how they do that, but I was truly impressed. I feel I only touched Turkey, and would definitely return to explore more. I would not hesitate to recommend Tour Radar to all of my friends and family. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

This tour was truly wonderful. It was the first time we have ever done a holiday like this, so to know that Tour Altinkum were always just a text away was very reassuring. The hotels were all amazing - Fresco Cave Suites in Cappadocia was the best hotel I've ever stayed in! We learnt so much and saw so many amazing sights thanks to the tour guides, specifically Sukran in Cappadocia and Metin in Ephesus/Pammukale. The wind unfortunately cancelled our hot air balloon flights in Cappadocia, but Sukran went out of her way to ensure that we still had an amazing time and she rearranged the days in order to make the most out of this amazing place in the dodgy weather! Metin had a brilliant sense of humour and was so knowledgeable about the ancient sights. Istanbul, Cappadocia, Ephesus and Pammukale are all such unique places and we had an amazing time in each of them. April was a good time of year to go as it wasn't too hot walking around. We loved the group tour aspect of this holiday and we met some wonderful people along the way. There are just a few small negatives which mean that I can't give 5 stars to this holiday. Firstly, we are vegetarian and we let Tour Altinkum know about this in advance of the holiday. Unfortunately, the first lunch provided in Istanbul was a meat platter! We let the waiters know and they rectified this instantly, but it was a little annoying. The breakfasts in the Cappadocia and Kusadasi hotels were brought over to your table rather than a buffet style. These all also had meat on. This wasn't a huge problem as we were able to eat the rest of it (which was so tasty!) but again, a little frustrating after we had let the company know that we are vegetarian. When booking this tour, we were fully aware that it included flights between each destination. However, we hadn't really considered that this would become such a big part of the holiday. We were dropped off at the airports hours in advance of the flights and we only had cabin baggage so we didn't need to spend this much time in each airport. We would have rather spent the time in the beautiful parts of Turkey we wanted to see! We also didn't consider how long the transfers to the hotels would be after the flight (this is not a complaint against Tour Altinkum, just worth thinking about if you are tempted to book this holiday). We landed in Kayseri after a delay and then had to wait for other passengers to get on the cramped minibus before starting the hours drive to Cappadocia - with a stop for petrol on the way! An hours drive isn't bad but after a delayed flight and hours at the airport it was a little annoying. Our flight from Kayseri to Izmir was a connecting flight so we had to fly to Izmir via Istanbul airport. Earlier in the day, I received a text from Turkish Airlines to say that the first flight would be delayed for 90 minutes. Our tour guide, Sukran, said that if this were the case then she would be happy to lengthen our tour around Cappadocia to save us having to wait at Kayseri airport. She rang Tour Altinkum who said that they were under the impression that the flight was still on time so they insisted on taking us to the airport at the normal time (by this point we had had a text confirming the delay AND it also said it online). We were dropped off at the airport hours before the flight was meant to take off to discover that, indeed, the flight was delayed! This meant that we were stuck at a tiny airport with no shops and no Wi-Fi for hours instead of spending more time in Cappadocia like Sukran suggested. It also meant that we missed our connecting flight in Istanbul. Overall, we were dropped off at the airport at 16:00 and didn't arrive at our hotel in Kusadasi until 2:00am the following day. This is what I mean when I say that the flights end up becoming such a huge part of the holiday. Despite the domestic flight problems, I would 100% do this style of holiday again and I would definitely recommend Tour Altinkum. My advice would be to try and do a longer holiday; because we were only there for a short amount of time, the flights ended up becoming a prominent part of the holiday and we didn't get chance to settle in each destination. I think if you had a few days in each place then the fights wouldn't feel like they've taken such a huge chunk of your holiday.

I did the 7 day Magnificent Turkey Tour in Nov 2021, and had a wonderful time! The thing that really impressed me, and made a difference for me with this trip, was how flexible and customizable the itinerary is. The tour can start on any day because its not one group tour, but a bunch of independent day tours with transfers and accommodations between tours arranged and included. At the end of this tour, I was planning on spending two extra days in Istanbul, which the company arranged for me at minimal extra cost (there would have been no economic benefit to me in booking this separately on my own, especially since it still included the airport transfer on the last day). My first full day tour, however, was Hagia Sophia/ Grand Bazaar / Topkapı Palace / Hippodromes/ Blue Mosque in Istanbul. These places were very amazing and important to visit, but as a solo female traveler, I quickly discovered I did not like how hectic and chaotic Istanbul was--after a couple days, i decided I did not want to return to Istanbul, so Tour Altınkum help me arrange to stay in Izmir on my last two days instead (so much better for me!) at no extra cost, and still make it to my departure flight from Istanbul on time. All of the other tour sites and cities were amazing for me, however, and as described in the itinerary. I loved Cappadocia, Kusadası, Pamukkale, and Efes very much! The hotels (Recital in Istanbul, Heaven Cave in Cappadocia, and Efe Boutique in Kusadası) were all excellent, and all of the transfers and flights were so well coordinated with no flaws--the logistical organization blew my mind; I definitely would not have been able to coordinate so many tours and trips in the same amount of time on my own. I traveled solo, and the single supplement was not too much, but for a couple or a group, i cant believe what a deal this trip would be! I think travelling as a couple or group would be even better, because the one downside i experienced as a solo traveler (other than overwhelm by İstanbul!) was a bit of loneliness and boredom in the three evenings where i had flights after the tours--travelling with a friend or family will give you someone to laugh with and discuss your adventure with while you are in transit! The evenings in which i had free time were all fine, though, as there is much to explore--shops, restaurants, etc--around the hotels in the various cities. I would definitely recommend Tour Altinkum to anyone planning a visit to Turkey, especially if it is their first time or if they want to see as much as possible in a short amount of time! I would also recommend taking advantage of the ability to customize your tour, too. The company is so flexible, and I think maybe if I went again, I would like to spend extra days just to relax and rest in Cappadocia and Kusadası! Thank you, Tour Altınkum, i had a wonderful time in Turkey!
