What people love about Philippines Tours in March
- 16 Days Philippines Adventure with El Nido to Coron Island expedition (Independent Tour)
I was very skeptical before coming to the Philippines and that's why I joined the tour. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The Philippines is a stunning country and I feel that this tour took us to the best places. This was my first trip outside of South Africa and I'm so happy that I made so many friends. I am very impressed with the organization of the tour, from the places we stayed at, the food, the travel and all the local knowledge we got. I will be talking about this experience to my friends and hope they join this tour as well.
- West Philippines Classic 10 Day - One Life Adventures
Good tour overall, The Philippines is a beautiful country and with this tour you get to experience the best of Palawan and the picturesque landscapes and beaches. One of my highlights of this tour was experiencing the culture of the Philippines, made possible by 'The Philippine Experience', and the local guides, Shen and Mark who were incredible and so funny and insightful. I never in my life thought I would climb a coconut tree! It was such a fun day. The only few things that I would say could be improved or taken in mind if you plan to do the tour is; On the website it says the 10 day tour ends in Puerto princesa when it actually finishes in El Nido. You then have to take a 6 hour van journey to get back to Puerto princesa when there is an airport at El Nido you can take a flight from instead which would have been great to know in advance. Another issue i had was with the constant Pre ordering of evening dinner which became too much. I get its to help the restaurant as there is a lot of us, but often we would arrive to the restaurant and food will be placed in front of us within 5 minutes of sitting down (sometimes before even getting our drinks) and rather than sitting down and having a dining experience, it felt quick and rushed and a couple of times the food came out cold. The accomodation was for the most part good, however, in the beach bungalow the running water was very inconsistent and would run out whilst showering which was far from ideal, especially having returned from a night of camping on a beach. This tour is a great way to experience the best of Palawan as the Philippines is still up and coming and isn't as tourist built like their neighbours. It would be difficult to do it by yourself and this tour takes the ease and worry out of travelling as all transport and activities are taken care of. All you need to do is show up on time and chose what you would like to do on any free days. I overall enjoyed this trip and Aileen was a cool guide!
- Philippines West
My overall experience was amazing. The activities that we did and the places we got to go to were better than I ever imagined. The group I was with were great, all different ages and had different personalities, but we all got on like a house on fire! However what really made the trip was the tour guides Justin and Jason. Always answering the 100 questions I would ask, always super helpful, positive and overall lovely! They both made an extra effort birthday by getting a huge cake delivered for the El Nido Island Hopping and made it a fantastic day. I couldn't have asked for a better trip, only wished I was doing the full 19 days!!! Best 10 days ever. This my third TruTravels tour and it did not disappoint!!

March's dry weather creates ideal conditions for exploring the Philippines' natural wonders. Visitors can join island hopping tours through El Nido's Big and Small Lagoons swim with whale sharks in Oslob or venture into the Underground River in Puerto Princesa. The Chocolate Hills of Bohol draw nature enthusiasts while cultural experiences like the Bamboo Bike tour through Manila's historic Intramuros district offer unique perspectives on Filipino heritage. A TourRadar traveler notes "The whale shark experience in Oslob is the jewel of this tour package. You will snorkel and maybe even get touched by a whaleshark."
How much should I budget for a Philippines trip in March?
An 8-12 day tour in March typically costs between 1080 USD and 2845 USD. The Filipino Beaches and Chocolate Hills tour (9 days) runs about 1874 USD with stays at Savoy Hotel Manila and Solea Coast Resort Panglao. Budget extra for environmental fees (200 PHP per destination) optional activities and meals not covered in tour packages. These prices reflect peak season rates during one of the Philippines' most pleasant weather months.
What wildlife can I see in Philippines during March?
March offers prime wildlife viewing opportunities across the Philippines. Visitors can spot endangered tarsiers at Bohol's sanctuary encounter whale sharks in Oslob's waters and observe diverse marine life while snorkeling. The Tarsier Conservation Area provides reliable viewing of these tiny primates. What are the best beaches to visit in Philippines during March?
March's clear skies and calm waters make it an excellent time to explore beaches across the archipelago.
