We did so many things we never even planned for tuktuk adventures, North Siargao tour, and somehow you made all of it feel effortless and exciting. Even when you were going through your own personal challenges, you still showed up for us with a smile. You didn’t have to, but you did and that says so much about the kind of person you are. From organizing every little detail like entrance fees to making sure we got from place to place, you took care of everything without making it feel like a “tour.” It felt like a trip with a friend who just really knows how to make people feel at ease. A smaller group was actually quite nice as we got to know each other better. Jay was such a nice tour guide. He was really kind and caring, and made sure we were happy along the tour! The Bohol land tour was fun - I particularly enjoyed seeing the chocolate hills and the tarsiers. My favourite place has to be Siargao! I’m so glad that TruTravels go to this place as I wouldn’t have known about it otherwise. It is so fun and I absolutely loved surfing in Siargao. As a young girl traveling by myself I really appreciate this a lot. He was so much fun and such a smiley friendly person, so nice to be around. It’s also great that he’s knowledgeable and passionate about the Philippines too. He’s very adaptable to the specific group and always made sure to ask what the group vibes are on each day, for example giving options of whether we want to go out partying or chilled out quiz night.
