What people love about Ireland Tours in October
- 8-Day Emerald Explorer Small Group Tour
The tour was great and our guide, Finn, was very personal and knowledgeable. The accommodations were very good and the breakfasts were delicious. My only suggestion is that dinner/ transportation to be added to the pricing.
- 7-Day Ireland to Island Small Group Tour of Ireland
We did the tour with our daughter and her husband - it was fabulous. Every time we went to a destination we found ourselves saying that one was the best! Pat was amazing - we learned history and current events where we were and all where we weren't but might want to visit in the future or if the site had significant history. He was able to identify with each member of the trip so everyone felt comfortable and included. And he was funny and even sang to us! The free time for lunch (or shopping!) was perfect. There were 13 of us on the trip and it was a perfect size to travel with - we got to know some great people (similar interests - we picked the same trip!) and small enough that we were able to go to some side tours not designed for large groups. The tour guides on the specialty sites (Skelling and Cliffs of Moher) were also outstanding and knew the expectation of Overland Ireland. I recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning more about Ireland (past and present), interested in smaller venues (one lane roads, off-the-beaten path ruins, etc), small groups, and looking for some adventure (hiking, biking) in a vacation.
- Best of Ireland
My overall rating is excellent for this tour. Our tour guide, Calvin Marillier was great and made the trip the amazing experience it was.
