- KJKatherine· October 1st, 2025Wild n Happy itinerary and tour guide was very good. We were frustrated with our accommodations. We had wanted 3 travellers in a room but the Tour Radar site that we used didn’t allow for that and charged a fee for the third traveller in a separate room. It turned out that the accommodations actually did have the option to put 3 in a room so the additional room (and fee) was not necessary.Show more
Wild N' Happy commented on this reviewThank you for your feedback. Yes, you do need to request a triple room as some of our accommodation providers do not offer rooms with 3 seperate beds. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed the tour itself. Thank you for your feedbackTrip date: September 2025 - JKJeannie· September 30th, 2025The guides, Dormod and Brian, were terrific. 5 stars there. The small tour experience was fantastic; what a great group of people! On the other hand, the small seats in the Mercedes vans were too small for our larger/taller frames and it took some getting used to. The accommodations were so-so and the reason for 4-stars rating. One hotel in Cork was depressing, smelled like a sewer back-up in one area and located down some sketchy allies, the B & B where we stayed three nights was a bit tired and had old time mattresses and flat pillows. On a positive note, Wet and Happy was out tour company through the booking company Tour Radar. They have a wonderful staff and a righteous business plan to give back to the environment. Honestly, I would do it again. Dispute the negative reviews in the accommodations and the van, everything else wiped all the minuses out.Show more

Thank you for the great review and lovely photosTrip date: July 2025- MJMelinda· July 27th, 2025Absolutely wonderful experience! We got to experience so many more adventures than we were promised in the description and our guides were well versed in local history and culture. Our group loved the humor and stories of our guide, and we all made new friends. I can’t wait to plan my next adventure!Show more
Wild N' Happy commented on this reviewLovely the hear you enjoyed your time with us and hopefully see you again sometime soon. Thank you, from all the Wild N Happy teamTrip date: July 2025 - JMJanette· June 25th, 2025This was one of the best guided tours that I have been on. The experience was so good because the guides Diarmuid, Beccy and Mick were so friendly and passionate in what they were doing. They were so obliging, stopping for photos, allowing us time to explore when the group was interested in something that was off the beaten track and imparting so much knowledge in such an interesting way. I learned so much but felt we were just a group of friends exploring the south of Ireland getting to know each other in such a relaxed way that the 7 days felt like weeks of enjoyment.Show more

Wild N' Happy commented on this reviewThank you Rosemary for taking the time to review. Abbey Lodge will be delighted. Yes, it would be great if we could plan some add on activies in advace but as most are weather dependent it makes it challenging. Unfortunately with the cliffs as it can... Show moreTrip date: October 2024 - SRScott· September 25th, 2024Great trip. Our guide Diarmuid was excellent and took real good care of us. We had been to Ireland before and this trip had a good itinerary that was not a repeat of all the standard places on an Ireland tour. It was nice to have a small group so that we could get to know the other people on the tour. Our tour was the Wild South small group tour.Show more

Wild N' HappyOperator•Written April 2025Have you any dates in mind and I can request ground floor rooms, if possible. We endeavour to spend as little time as possible on the bus allowing. Of course, sometimes journeys between destinations are required however we ensure that we stop often to allow for toilet breaks and give you plenty of time to get off the bus to explore.

Asked on August 10th, 2024Do I arrive and check in the hotel the night prior to the day of the tour and that is included or ck in the day of the tour. Is only breakfast included during the whole tour and I am responsible for the rest of my meals? When we return to Dublin the last day of the tour, do we stop at the airport or return for one more night included in the tour package? If we stop at the airport and one more stay at the hotel is not included, what time do we arrive at the airport. I would like to check into a flight that would return to the US that day. Also, is a tour of Dublin included? Also, do you have single (traveling alone), tours during this same time line?
Wild N' HappyOperator•Written August 2024The tour begins at 11am on the Sunday morning and returns to Dublin on the Saturday. You have the option of being dropped at Dublin airport at approximately 12.30pm or in Dublin city. We offer single rooms with private ensuite bathroom in both classic and luxury accommodation. Yes, the meals included is just breakfast but your guide will be happy to give suggestions each day depending on the type of cuisine you are interested in. If you wish to have a tour in Dublin I can recommend the hop on hop off tour as it gives a good overview of the city and Guiness tour os also popular. For the best rates it is best to book these tours directly.
