What people love about Overland Truck Tours from Nairobi
- Kenya and Tanzania Overland Safari - 14 Days
This is not the first time, I have been travelling to East Africa. I travel at least once in a year with my family to explore the wildlife safaris, as we are very fond of African Safaris. But whenever, we plan a tour to East Africa, Nancy Yogo of East Point Safari Bookers is our first & last choice. She is like a family. She takes very good care of us & with her perfect guidance, we have been able to explore & discover the real east african safaris. We had a lifetime experience with Nancy with the host of safari packages which she offered - Maasai mara safaris, Nairobi Day tours, Tanzania camping safari, Uganda gorilla safaris, Mombasa beach holidays, Kenya wildlife Safaris, Masai Mara balloon safaris What a marvellous tour operators & guide. I would recommend all to book a safari tour with Nancy Yogo of East Point Safari Bookers.
 - Kenya Wildlife Safari
This trip far exceeded my expectations, especially since this was my very first time going with a tour. We had an amazing group who made this experience all the more fun. Our driver, cook, and guide was so welcoming and we never once felt like we were in any kind of danger. Our guide, Martin, was always honest with us and made sure we weren't taken advantage of by local merchants. This was really a once in a lifetime experience and the people of Kenya were all wonderful, especially the local tribes who welcome us with open hands and always went out of their way to get everyone involved and taught us so much about their way of life, their culture, and traditions. The itinerary is pretty spot on and there weren't any ugly surprises, only wonderful ones. I would recommend everyone to thoroughly read through it and make sure you bring the right equipment as some people in our group were caught off guard with the storage size and night weather (their sleeping bag didn't hold up to the cold weather). We were able to see so many wild life on our trip, even driving on the highway we saw zebras just walking pass the street. Giraffes, monkeys, and hyenas (we always heard them at night) were also a regular occurrence! On our safari's we were able to see 4/5 big five (+cheetah!) and all of the ugly five. Really just an amazing experience that people of all ages can appreciate!
 - Nairobi To Cape Town (76 Days) Grand Adventurer
Three months on and thinking about my time with everyone, with our truck, going around Africa still makes me smile. I didn't know what to expect, and read every blog I could lay my hands on to try and work it out but nothing I read online could prepare me for a trip like this. Because it isn't about itineraries, all the companies are so similar. It's about the ethos of the organisation, the staff they employ and the travellers they attract. Oasis is budget, and so you get the most chilled out people who love every aspect of 'getting your hands dirty' travelling. Which are my kind of people. The truck was awesome - it has such a unique and clever layout, the beach was my favourite bit - riding through Africa with my head out the roof drinking it all in. The crew were phenomenal, they got it all done but had fun and became real, actual friends with the group just like anyone else. I couldn't complain about a single thing in the itinerary, in the running, planning, pre-depature information, support from HQ - it was all top-notch for an amazing price. Lots of people see 'drive days' as a total drag on a trip like this but actually I loved them, the truck is laid out so you can chat to each other, have a dance party or just stick your head out of the sides/top for hours, and it's looking out the window that you see the real Africa. So I guess that's the most special thing about Oasis (though it is really hard to pick), that with them you really can get the most out of every day, not just the ones in somewhere already amazing like the Serengeti, Victoria Falls or the Gorilla Treks. I miss it so much, my only complaint is that it's over!
