- shane· September 4th, 2025I climbed the 6-day Machame Route with Killi Economy, and the whole experience was incredible from start to finish. Edward, the owner, was fantastic, really helpful with the booking process and always quick to communicate, which made everything smooth and stress-free. On the mountain, the crew were absolutely amazing. Our chief guides Haji and Tulisa kept us safe, motivated, and confident the whole way. The food from Martin and Abeli was far beyond what I expected on a mountain and gave us the energy we needed every day. On summit night, Innocent, our summit porter, along with Tulisa helped me massively in getting through the final stretch with their encouragement helping me in reaching the top when I needed it most. Every single member of the team worked so hard, setting up camp, carrying gear, and lifting our spirits. Without them, I wouldn’t have reached the summit. This was truly the adventure of a lifetime, and I can’t recommend Killi Economy highly enough. I have made some memories to last a lifetime.Show more

Asked on May 20th, 2024Would you be able to arrange for us to be picked up at Kigoma airport at 7:40 am on 8/25, and boat to Gombe? And the same for the return trip to Kigoma airport at the end of our trip on 8/28? Is the $500 per person covering the chimpanzee safari for 2 days, 1 night hotel stay, and airport transfers? Can you send me a full breakdown of all the costs so I know exactly what is included in my package?

Public boat is $100 per person. Accommodation night before and after tour is $140 for two nights. Subtotal extra cost is $640.

Yes the price included all park fees, food and taxes. Also accommodation in park. You need to arrange transport to the park about 150$ and boat 50$ per person. About hotel is not included before the adventures and after adventures.

Asked on June 5th, 2023My name is Philipp Eppe, and I am writing to inquire about the availability of the Gombe Chimpanzee safari for two people. It is our first time in Tanzania and we are very interested in visiting Gombe to witness the chimpanzees of this area. On your website, I see a € 467 tour for 2 days. We are also open to a group tour if this would lower the price. We are arriving in Dar es Salaam on the 22nd of July and would be willing to fly to Kigoma within the next couple of days. After the chimp trekking, we want to continue to travel to Iringa to visit the Ruaha National Park. How would you advise us to travel to Iringa? We are flexible with our time, so we could take multiple buses with multiple stops on the way. If this is a possibility we would prefer this over flying, to be able to see more of the country.
