Itinerary
- Day 1
Hanoi to Halong Bay
You'll start early with hotel pickup in Hanoi, then take the new highway out to Tuan Chau Island. From there, you'll board your cruise boat for a 5-hour journey through Halong Bay, passing all those distinctive limestone formations. Vietnamese lunch comes on board while you're taking in the scenery. In the afternoon, you'll check out Surprising Cave to see the stalactites and stalagmites, then either kayak or take a bamboo boat through Luon Cave. If you're up for it, climbing Titov Peak gives you great panoramic views of the whole bay. After some afternoon tea, you'll have time to relax on deck before heading back to Hanoi by evening.
