Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival
You'll arrive in Berlin whenever works best for you and head to the hotel at your own pace. Check-in happens around 3:00pm, so if you get there early, you can start exploring right away. The city has so much to see, so consider arriving a day or two early if you can to get a proper feel for the place before the tour officially starts.

Berlin
Start the day with an orientation walk alongside your CEO so you can get oriented around Berlin. After that, you'll spend time at different sections of the Berlin Wall with a local historian who'll walk you through the political and social history of the Iron Curtain, from its rise through to its fall. Later in the afternoon you have free time and can join a river tour if you're interested, people-watch at the Brandenburg Gate, or head to local galleries and museums to check out the city's art scene.

Berlin to Prague
You'll travel by private vehicle to Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic and one of Europe's best-preserved medieval cities from the 14th century. A local guide will take you through the historic centre, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and you'll walk the cobbled streets to see how the architecture evolved from the Middle Ages to today. This evening, there's an option to watch the sunset from a beer garden right along the Vltava River.

Prague
You have the full day to explore Prague at your own speed. Walk past the baroque domes and Gothic spires, wander through sprawling plazas and cathedrals. The iconic Charles Bridge is worth crossing, and the historic Jewish Quarter has a lot of history to discover. You can see the medieval astronomical clock and check out Wenceslas Square, where people gathered during the Velvet Revolution. If you're up for it, climb over 200 steps to Prague Castle. For dinner, try traditional Czech dishes like goulash and dumplings at a local spot.

Prague to Český Krumlov
You'll drive through the Bohemian countryside to the fairytale town of Český Krumlov, a UNESCO World Heritage site. There's an option to visit the Český Krumlov State Castle and Chateau where you can walk through Gothic castle passageways, see the Baroque theatre, and explore the hedge maze across grounds that were built between the 14th and 19th centuries.

Český Krumlov to Vienna
After crossing the border into Austria, you'll take an orientation walk around Vienna. Stop by a local café to have a cup of rich Viennese coffee paired with Sacher torte, the famous chocolate and nougat cake that's tied to the city's coffee house tradition. Later you'll have free time to either see Vienna's opera house or just take a walk around this elegant capital.

Vienna
This morning you'll join a local chef at the Naschmarkt, which has been a marketplace since the 16th century. You'll sample some of Vienna's best delicacies as you walk through the stalls and lanes. After lunch, the afternoon is yours to spend however you'd like. You can visit art galleries, check out the Lipizzaner horses at the Spanish Riding School, attend mass with the Vienna Boys Choir, or simply relax at a café.

Vienna to Budapest
You'll catch a train to Budapest, Hungary's capital where history, architecture, and culture blend along the Danube River. A local guide will lead you on a walking tour through the medieval and Jewish districts, and you'll learn about the pre-Ottoman history of Buda and Pest on either side of the river. During free time, you can soak at a thermal bathhouse, explore the Baroque castle where Hungarian kings once lived, or join your CEO for an optional farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
