Asked on May 28th, 2023I have a question about the accommodation - are these dorm rooms or shared rooms Please share more information
- Euroventure TravelOperator•Written May 2023
For our group tours we use mixed hostel dorms. You'd be sharing the room with the other people in the group tour. This is not something that we can change in our group tours but if you were interested in doing this route solo, we can offer you other types of accommodation.

Traveler•Written May 2023I am really interested in this tour however I would like a solo or twin share accommodation, would that be possible?

Traveler•Written May 2023I am interested in group tour but private dorm, please let me know if you can help me with that
- C
Caitlin
Traveler•Written May 2023And how many people share the dorm room?
- Euroventure TravelOperator•Written May 2023
It can be up to 12 people in a dorm but this can vary depending on the hostels, and how many people are in the tour as well as availabilities in each of the hostels. However, I can assure you that the hostels are of the highest standards and you have access to lockers to store your personal belongings. The hostels are very clean and have a friendly and modern atmosphere.

Asked on November 22nd, 2022when would I need to arrive for the tour? Will I be picked up from the airport or I have to meet at the first location of the tour?
- Euroventure TravelOperator•Written November 2022
The group meets in the hostel in Berlin on the first day in the late afternoon. The tour leader will wait for you there and that is where you will begin your trip. Therefore you'll need to arrange your own transportation from the airport to the hostel. However in Berlin, there's easy transportation into the city from the airport with the S-bahn or U-bahn!

Traveler•Written November 2022would I know what hostel i would be staying ay when I pay deposit?
- Euroventure TravelOperator•Written November 2022
The hostels are confirmed nearer to the departure time. However, please don't worry the hostels we use are all well rated and centrally located. As an example, we use Wombats Hostels in Vienna and Budapest - which is a customer favourite!

Traveler•Written November 2022may I go on this group tour even if I would be 37? Are you strict on age limit?
- Euroventure TravelOperator•Written November 2022
Unfortunately our tours are capped at age 35. I do apologise for any inconvenience. However, if you do want to take a trip with Euroventure, we offer independent trips - although these are not Group Tours nor do they have a dedicated Leader, you could choose a Set Route (if you book on our website there's currently 10% off with BLACKFRIDAY) or you can create a custom route.

Asked on November 17th, 2022I am traveling with my mom. She has the Covid vaccine but I don't have it. It is ok for me? Or are you requesting full vaccination to visit these 4 countries? Germany, Ch. Republic, Austria and Hungary?
- Euroventure TravelOperator•Written November 2022
Our group tours are limited to ages 18-35, if you'd like to travel with your mom, we can help make you a custom trip or you can have a look at our set trips on the website. We could also arrange an independent trip to the same cities as the group tour, but it would be without a tour leader. In general it would be best for you to check all the Covid restrictions for each destination you plan on visiting, as this would all depend on which vaccines you have and how many you got.

Asked on July 18th, 2022Is there usually a mix of genders on this tour, or is it usually quite female dominated?
- Euroventure TravelOperator•Written July 2022
All our group tour travellers are aged between 18-35, the majority being single travellers in their early twenties. This year we've generally seen more of a mix, but overall I'd say there are more females that attend these group tours.

Asked on April 6th, 2022Can you send the list of hotel names for this tour?
- Euroventure TravelOperator•Written April 2022
The group takes place solely in hostels, not hotels - and you'll be informed of exactly where you are staying 3-4 weeks prior to the tour beginning.

Asked on March 30th, 2022wondering the average age of people booked in to the Berlin to Budapest rail tour (18-35s) leaving on the 23rd of July
- Euroventure TravelOperator•Written March 2022
As of right now, from what we can see, everyone on the trip is in their 20s. We are still waiting for the trip to fill up more, so there will be a range of ages!

Asked on March 14th, 2022Hey, me and a couple of friends are planning a Europe trip this July from Norway. I have looked at your Iron Curtain trip and was very interested in trying it out. But I have just a few questions about some of the details of the trip first. First of all I was wondering how the food situation is. Is it normal to have to pay extra for food or is that included in the 700 euro package? And if its not included, how does dinner on the trip usually go? Does the group like eat together or does everyone do their own thing? My second question was also about the group. Is it possible to apply 4 people at once or does every member of my group have apply for the trip separately? And also if possible, could you say something about how the groups usually are on these trips? Like do you always fill up the 20 people limit or are there fewer people that join? And what is usually the age range of these people? And my last question is about the participation of joining every activity described on the brochure. My friends are probably not going to want to skip any of the activities, but if we wanted to skip an activity one day, would that be possible, or are all the planned group activities mandatory?
- Euroventure TravelOperator•Written March 2022
In terms of food while we are away, breakfast is included in some of the hostels, but all other food is not included. You will have free time to find places to eat. Usually the group is quite sociable and they end up eating together, but it depends on each group so the eating situation is quite flexible. It is possible for 4 people to sign up to the same group tour. Again, I would say the groups can be slightly different each time, but usually people are aged from 18 to 25. Our Eastern European group tours tend to have slightly less than 20 people on them, which can be quite nice as everyone gets to know each other better and are really sociable on the trip. The group activities are not mandatory, you have complete freedom in what you want to do. We cannot give refunds for any activities you miss, but hopefully you wont want to miss any!
