The guide was excellent and all participants were very pleasant and enthusiastic. The hotels are OK (except the one in La Fortuna- a moldy dive). Despite National Geographic partnership, I did not see any difference with other GAdventure Tours. The physical rate is light walking, so nothing too strenuous. Santa Elena Cloud Forest Guided Tour is 2 hours - 2-3km. Walk along trails at a leisurely pace, watch for wildlife, and trek to observation tower. March is the dry season with sunny weather. Average mountain temperatures are 75 to 85 °F during the day, cooling off at night.

Yes, it is mandatory for all of our travellers to have Emergency Medical Travel Insurance that will cover the dates of the tour. This policy must include medical expenses coverage, emergency evacuation benefit, and repatriation to your home country.
