- JJasmine· June 11th, 2025Guide was good, very knowledgeable and organised. However, more authentic lunch stops would of been appreciated, rather than roadside diners at gas stations. It was extremely expensive and not great food. This seemed to be depicted by the driver. We chose to do the hot air balloon ride in cappadocia, and were disappointed to hear that we had been charged more than most other travellers. Other people we talked to had booked rides for almost 100 euro cheaper than what we paid, and recieved more as apart of the package as well. The last day was also a very long day of driving - which was okay, but we felt the week/locations could have been broken up a bit more evenly to make it more enjoyable and less tiring. We stopped at a carpet education centre just out of kusadasi, where we were told there was no pressure to buy anything and it was more about showcasing the traditional practices than anything else. This was absolutely not the case. It started off well - relaxed and interesting, watching how the processes were done, but quickly flipped into being targeted and pressured into buying expensive carpet. They cunningly singled people out and put pressure on individuals to buy, even after being told no multiple times, they still would not give in. We left feeling extremely disappointed as it started off so well. More vulnerable people were persuaded into buying carpets even though they did not 100% want to which was not very fair.Show moreFez Travel commented on this reviewThank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. - Oscar ivan· June 1st, 2025The tour’s structure is relative fine, the hotels are good, the food is good too however the tour guide I don’t think he was the right person. Too much history I had to research by myself cuz all were missed. We went to pointless stops and slept others. Asking questions to him was difficult cuz he didn’t know how to answer. The way back is optional from Cappadocia to Istanbul but no one says is gonna be that long so at the end we had to book tickets and paid 100 euros for the taxi. That information was not clear at all. Every service with the tour company was more than double in price. I understand with the company can be higher and we are willing to pay as you do the logistics but a Jeep was 30 euros the tour guide changed 90 and the balloon 300 euros and we bought it for 115€. Everything is like “it is not included”, “it is not part but it will be x€ if you want” The experience was good but too many little things left me disappointed.Show moreFez Travel commented on this reviewThank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback. - KSKenneth· May 27th, 2025Our tour was fabulous. "G" was our tour guide and he was wonderful. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge. The tour was well planned. We had a couple of days that involved a lot of driving but that was to be expected as we did cover a large geographical area, but the roads were excellent as was our driver. The sites we stopped at were full of interesting history, beautiful architecture and landscapes as well as interesting people and food. Fez travel in Turkey was easy to book with and answered all my questions clearly and without delay. I would happily book with them again in the future.Show moreFez Travel commented on this reviewThank you so much for your fantastic review of the Turkey Classics Tour! - Pamela· April 14th, 2025We just finished our tour with Fez. We had a fabulous time. Our driver was great and tour guide very knowlegeable. Unfortunately, we were told that the last day of our tour would be a 13 hour drive to Istanbul. We had already paid for accomodation in Istanbul and flights from there to Antayla. At great expense, we managed to get new flights, new transfers and an extra mights accomodation at the wonderful Giramisu Caves Hotel. I think you really need to offer the flight option from Cappadoccia at time of booking so that future guests do not have the added expense and angst ($1755 aud) to avoid the 13 hour drive back to Istanbul.Show moreTrip date: April 2025
- Tricia· March 18th, 2025What a great 7 days! We spent a few days in Istanbul first, as this tour does not cover that, and then met up with our driver, Murat, and our guide, Halil. The itinerary was good and we covered many miles visiting some very interesting locations. While there is much driving, it was well worth it and Murat was an excellent driver! Additionally, the van was very comfortable, with wifi and USB plug-ins. The accommodations were good, especially the cave hotel in Cappadocia. Breakfast and dinners were included which was a nice feature. We chose to fly back from Cappadocia to Instanbul, as the drive back is very long with only a couple of short stops. Halil was very knowledgable and made our journey more interesting by introducing us to different Turkish foods and traditions. Thank you, Halil and Murat, for a great experience, we are already planning our trip back to Türkiye!Show moreFez Travel commented on this reviewThank you for your fantastic review! - Bradley· March 11th, 2025I rate this tour 5 stars. I had been on TourRadar tours before, 2 others, but my girlfriend who I brought with me this time, had never been. She had an absolute blast. We booked (accidentally) at the barely beginning of their tour season, winter was just ending, so it ended up being just the two of us on the tour, like a private showing almost. Our Fez Travel driver, Seyfi, was skilled and even arrived us at locations ahead of schedule. The itinerary is great, with a mixture of historical/archaeological and cultural destinations that really give you a taste of Turkiye and its culture and history. Our tour guide, Tamer, was a real star, incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating who went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. He took us to a few destinations extra that weren't in the itinerary, made sure we got good deals at shops and restaurants, and was flexible with our wants. There was only one small snag in the entire itinerary and Tamer skillfully fixed it for us, other than that nothing even went off course.Show moreFez Travel commented on this reviewThank you for your fantastic 5-star review! - RMRaymond· November 1st, 2024Excellent guide. Very friendly and informative. All sites were very interesting. Galipolli was very good. Seeing both the Anzac and Turkish grave sites was good. Could have spent more time, maybe another 30 minutes, at Ephesus, as we did not see the museum presentation, the ancient house floor murals, and had little time to go into the amphitheatre. There was time available, as we were back at the hotel by 1630 hrs. Hotels were of good quality but there were issues the first night, with the AC not working on the 4th and 5th floors causing temperatures of 29C in the rooms. The Cave hotel was an unexpected happy surprise and very unique. Meals were all good and gave a chance to talk with the other group members. Group members were all friendly. Almost everyone flew back from the Cave Hotel to Istanbul.Show moreFez Travel commented on this reviewThank you for sharing your detailed feedback on the Turkey Classics Tour! Asked on February 27th, 2025I have mobility issues and use a Walker would this tour be suitable for me and can you accommodate my walker.
- Fez TravelOperator•Written February 2025
If you use a walker, a private tour is the best option, as it ensures personalized assistance and modifications to make your experience as smooth as possible. Flexibility & Customization – The itinerary can be adjusted to match your interests, pace, and mobility needs. Personalized Attention – A private guide ensures you receive detailed insights and assistance tailored to you. Comfort & Convenience – Travel in a private vehicle with door-to-door service, avoiding long waits and large crowds. More Relaxed Pace – You can take breaks as needed, ensuring a stress-free experience. Turkey's historic sites can present some accessibility challenges, but with a private tour, adjustments can be made to enhance comfort.

Asked on January 28th, 2025Our tour concludes with arrival to Istanbul at approximately 7pm at tour's end. Where will we be dropped? Will we be dropped at our hotel (probably in Sultanahmet / Fatih area)? This will be our second TourRadar tour on this holiday. Is there any sort of repeat customer discount (I thought I'd read something but can't find it now)?

We can drop you off at your hotel in or around Sultanahmet. We may also help you book hotels if you like. Both the promo code and Fez Travel Discount have been applied.
