Athens
You'll arrive in Athens and head to the welcome gathering at 6 pm. This is where you'll meet your Globus Host and the other travelers joining you on this Greek adventure. A welcome drink kicks things off, so it's a relaxed start to get oriented and make some initial connections.

Athens
This morning starts with guided sightseeing around Athens. You'll see Syntagma Square, then move on to the Temple of Zeus and Panathenaic Stadium before heading up to the Acropolis. After that, the afternoon and evening are yours to wander around on your own pace and explore whatever interests you.

Athens to Mykonos
Your Greek Islands cruise departs from Athens, and you'll arrive in Mykonos by evening. The rest of the day is free, so you can check out the beaches, wander through the town, and see those 16th-century windmills that the island is known for. The Aegean waters are right there if you want to take a dip.

Landmarks/POIs Mykonos - Day 4
Patmos
The ship takes you to Kusadasi, Turkey, where you'll spend time at the Ephesus excavations. You can walk through the Greek, Roman, and Byzantine ruins, including the Library of Celsus, Basilica of St. John, and Temple of Artemis. Later in the afternoon, the ship makes a call at Patmos before continuing.

Santorini
You'll dock in Heraklion to visit the Minoan Palace of Knossos. This site dates back to 3000 BC and gives you a real sense of what the Minoan civilization was like. If weather cooperates, the ship also stops at Santorini in the afternoon so you can see that island too.

Athens
After disembarking your cruise, you have a full day to explore Athens on your own. The Plaka neighborhood is great for wandering around with its village feel right under the Acropolis. You'll find shops selling jewelry and ceramics, and plenty of sidewalk cafes and tavernas to sit down and relax in.

Athens
Your trip wraps up this morning. You'll have breakfast before heading to the airport and departing Athens, taking all those Greek memories back home with you.
