- Eliezer· March 24th, 2025Roger was a great guide! Everything went smoothly and while the group was together a lot, there was also plenty of freedom to explore sites, activities, and restaurants solo if we wanted.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThank you so much for sharing your review with us, Eliezer! - Alexandra· May 23rd, 2023Japan was so fun! A looooooot of free time so do you researches about what to do and visit in every city. Would have love more ''organised'' activities (like a dinner every night with the group,...). Compared to other G Adventures tour I did in the past, I felt that this group was less stick together since there was only a few group activities.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewHi Alexandra, Thanks for the constructive feedback; I really appreciate it.Trip date: March 2023
- Thomas· April 6th, 2023⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ / ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It was awesome. Be had the right amount of free time and guidance. Our CEO was the best one I've ever could expect, she went to the top and 500 extra miles. I will definitely recommend it.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewHi Thomas, Love this! Thanks for the great feedback.Trip date: March 2023
- Marshall· February 12th, 2023Overall, I had a great time on this trip. Make sure you're prepared with a few ideas of what you want to eat and what to visit at each stop. The tour was good, but we occasionally spent too much or too little time in some areas. (I recommend spending a long time at Fushimi Inari and maybe like an hour at most for Kinkakuji.) Communication was a little lacking from our guide at times, but he did a good job of getting us from one location to the other. Would recommend to others.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewHi Marshall, Thank you for taking the time to send through your feedback; we really appreciate it!Trip date: January 2023
- SStevendeGroot· September 2nd, 2022Booked Japan tour for my pregnant partner and I as a baby moon. Was told at time of booking that deposits were refundable if tour did not go ahead due to COVID restrictions. Was informed a few weeks ago that rules in Japan hadn’t changed but GAdventures has decided to heavily modify the tour so it could go ahead. We did not want to go ahead with this heavily modified tour so we requested refund of our deposits as previously discussed. Today we were told we wouldn’t be getting our deposits back despite the tour we originally signed up for not going ahead. I have now had to lodge a complaint with Australian Consumer Protection. Feel like we got scammed, avoid avoid avoid.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewHi Steven, Thank you for your feedback; I really appreciate it. Please allow me to raise your concerns with our sales management team.Trip date: June 2022
- Younjee· December 25th, 2019My tour guide and group was awesome! My only issue was the itinerary not being very clear before meeting up with the tour.Show moreTrip date: December 2019

- APAlexandra· April 15th, 2019The itinerary needed to be more detailed, there was a lot up in the air as to what was happening each day. There wasn’t the greatest communication between the guide and the group, as to where we were meeting and such. The places we stayed were a great mix of different style of hostel and were close to most areas in the city with a few exceptions.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewAppreciate the review, thanks Alexandra.Trip date: February 2019

Asked on July 28th, 2025Is this tour strictly for 39 and under? As im 41 and have been on a 18-39 before with G adventures to china and throughly enjoyed it
- G AdventuresOperator•Written July 2025
We do get asked this a lot and unfortunately, we have to be really strict about our age limits on our travel styles. If we were more lenient on this, we would be false advertising and may lead to customer dissatisfaction or miss-selling of our product. It is not our intention to exclude people, it is simply that we have a specific product which targets that age group and traveller type. To align with our 18 to 30 something campaign, it is necessary to have an upper age limit with no exceptions to keep our promise to our customers.

Asked on July 24th, 2025I would like to have some information on this tour On day 1 what time does the tour begins and day 11 , what time does it ends the tour
- G AdventuresOperator•Written July 2025
On Day 1, you will have to attend the welcome meeting at 6pm at the hotel in Tokyo, therefore you should plan to land at the airport by 3pm latest. On the last day, you can depart anytime. There are no tours that day. Check-out time is 11am

Asked on July 22nd, 2025Does this tour is good for 40 years and above? Or only limited to 39 years old?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written July 2025
This is an 18-39 tour, all travellers must be between those ages on Day 1 of the tour. Unfortuantely a travellers aged 40+ would be required to look at our Classic tours instead.

Asked on July 12th, 2025Is it possible to book a Single room?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written July 2025
It is not possible to book your own room on the 18-thirtysomethings travel styles. Those tours are a mix of hotel and hostels. there will be 2 per room on hotel nights and 4-6 per room during hostel nights, that will be separated by gender.
