- Day 1
Arrival in Hanoi
You'll land at Noi Bai International Airport where your guide meets you for the transfer to Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi. The hotel sits right in the city center, so after checking in you can either rest from your flight or take a walk around Hoan Kiem Lake, which is just nearby. The lake's a nice spot to get oriented and shake off the travel.

Hanoi Historic Landmarks
This morning starts at Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, then you'll head to his stilt house where he lived between 1958 and 1969. The One Pillar Pagoda comes next with its lotus pond setting. After grabbing authentic Vietnamese lunch at a local spot, the afternoon takes you to the Temple of Literature, which has stood for nearly 1,000 years and honors Confucius. You'll finish the day with a traditional cyclo ride through the Old Quarter's winding streets.

Hanoi to Halong Bay
You'll drive about 2.5 hours to reach Halong Bay, then board the Bhaya Legend for your cruise on this UNESCO World Heritage site. The boat's a traditional Vietnamese junk-style vessel, and you can customize which areas you explore. Gourmet meals come throughout the day, and dinner happens on deck with grilled food and stars overhead.

Halong Bay to Hue
After breakfast on your final morning, you take in the coastal karst views before leaving the boat. The drive back to Hanoi gets you to the airport for a flight to Hue. Your guide meets you upon arrival and transfers you to Azerai La Residence, which sits along the Perfume River with nice views of the waterfront.

You'll sail on the Perfume River in the morning aboard a traditional dragon boat, stopping at Thien Mu Pagoda along the way. The Imperial Citadel comes next, a walled fortress showing Vietnam's royal history. Later, the Dong Ba Market gives you a feel for local commerce and daily life. Evening brings a home-hosted dinner at Princess Ngoc Son's century-old garden home, where you'll try traditional Hue dishes and hear stories about royal life.

Con Dao Islands Continuation
You'll have another leisure day on Con Dao. If you're interested in wildlife, mother sea turtles nest on the beach from May through October, and baby turtles head to the sea between mid-July and early November, depending on when you're visiting. Otherwise, the beach and pool are always there to enjoy.

Departure from Con Dao Islands
