- JRJennifer· September 5th, 2025Automatic translation available in English. View in EnglishThe trip through Vietnam with One Life Adventure was a great experience. You experience so many different facets of the country. We were impressed by the friendliness of the people, the diversity of the country and the impressive landscapes. In particular, the cruise in Ha Long Bay and the homestay between rice fields, as well as the jeep tour over the Hai Van Pass are highlights of this tour. Our guide Danny always put his heart and soul into making sure we had a special time.Show moreOne Life Adventures commented on this reviewThank you for your lovely review Jennifer! - BPBianca· September 4th, 2025The One Life Adventures 12-day Vietnam tour was far more than a travel itinerary it was a deeply enriching journey through culture, history, and human connection. From the bustling energy of Ho Chi Minh City to the tranquil rice terraces of Pu Luong, every moment felt intentional and alive. What made this tour unforgettable was our guide, Danny. His love for Vietnam was palpable in every story he shared, every site he introduced, and every quiet moment he allowed us to absorb. His passion wasn’t performative, it was rooted in reverence. He carried Vietnam’s history not just in facts, but in feeling. I learned more in those twelve days than I ever expected: about dynasties and revolutions, resilience and renewal, and the layered beauty of Vietnamese identity. Highlights: • 🏮 Hội An’s Old Town was a living museum its preserved architecture, cobbled streets, and golden glow at dusk felt timeless. The evening boat ride, gently drifting along the Thu Bồn River with lantern candles floating beside us, was pure enchantment. It was a quiet, spiritual moment that felt like a wish whispered into the night. • 🛶 Kayaking into Hoi An’s ancient town offered a different perspective—gliding past palm groves and riverside farms, we saw the town’s soul from the water. • 🍳 The cooking class in Hue was an absolute delight hands-on, flavorful, and full of laughter. We learned to prepare traditional dishes with local chefs who made the experience feel like a joyful celebration of Vietnamese cuisine. Every bite was a triumph. • 🏯 Hue’s Imperial City came alive through Danny’s storytelling he painted the past with such clarity that I could almost hear the footsteps of emperors. • 🚙 Rooftop jeep travel through Da Nang was pure joy, wind in our hair, panoramic coastal views, and laughter and singing echoing as we cruised past marble mountains and seaside cliffs. It was one of those rare experiences that felt both cinematic and carefree. • 🛳️ The overnight cruise in Halong Bay was spectacular. Sailing through limestone karsts under a starlit sky, we were treated to phenomenal food, impeccable service, and moments of quiet awe. It was indulgent without being excessive, just beautifully done. • 🏞️ Pu Luong National Park offered a soul-deep connection to nature and community. The homestay was a gentle reminder of how simplicity can be profound. • 🍱 Meals were a celebration of Vietnamese cuisine, with opportunities to cook, taste, and share. We cannot thank Danny enough for leading our group with such passion and generosity. His warmth, knowledge, and pride in his country made every moment more meaningful. Vietnam is beautiful but seeing it through Danny’s eyes made it unforgettable.Show moreOne Life Adventures commented on this reviewThank you so much for your thoughtful review Bianca! He was always there for us, gave us plenty of information about the country and the culture, but above all, his friendly, funny, and helpful nature made it unique. The organization was perfect! There were so many highlights on the trip: My favorite was Train Street, but also Hoi An with its cute boats. The cooking class was also great, and the homestay with an impressive view. - Jack· July 16th, 2025This was my first group trip as a frequent solo traveller and it was the best travel experience I've had to date. The itinerary was jam-packed with so many adventure and culture-focused activities that I would not have been able to experience if I did this trip on my own. Our guide, Danny, was absolutely amazing - as a Vietnamese local he was able to share a lot about the food and culture, and he brought a lot of energy and humour to the trip that made it so much more fun. The highlights of the trip were experiencing rural Vietnam at the homestay, and surprising catching the sleeper train as this was definitely something to experience. I would definitely book another tour with One Life Adventures again in the future.Show moreOne Life Adventures commented on this reviewThank you so much for your review Jack! - SSophie· June 25th, 2025Automatic translation available in English. View in EnglishA magical interlude in Vietnam ✨ This 12-day trip to Vietnam will long remain etched in my memory. Even if the first few days were a little rainy, that was part of the charm and adventure, and nothing could have tarnished this unique experience. Every day was intensely rhythmic: between cultural visits, local activities and moments of sharing, we didn't have a second to get bored - and that was great! What really made all the difference was our guide, Danny. Always attentive, caring and ready to help us at any time, he made this adventure even smoother and more rewarding. His advice was invaluable, especially when it came to making the most of our free time and organizing our little extras. Thanks to him, everything seemed simple, even in a country so different from our own. Memories come flooding back: playing Da Cau in Saigon, making eco-bricks, cycling through the narrow streets of Hoi An, discovering Vietnamese cuisine, hiking in Pu Luong, sailing on Ha Long Bay... It was a total immersion, authentic and full of emotions. Thank you Danny for your smile, your passion and your invaluable guidance.
