Barcelona
A guided tour takes you through Barcelona's major sights like Las Ramblas, Passeig de Gràcia, and views of La Sagrada Família. You can wander the Gothic Quarter at your own pace and see Gaudí's work firsthand. Several options are available including a trip to Montserrat, a drive around Montjuïc, or a Catalonian feast dinner with drinks if you're interested.

Barcelona to Valencia
Head south along the Costa Dorada past orange groves to Peñíscola, where you'll see the impressive 13th-century Templar Castle. Later you reach Valencia for an orientation tour that covers the Art Nouveau Train Station, the Towers of Serrano and Quart, and the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences.

Valencia to Granada
Travel toward the Sierra Nevada foothills and stop at a hidden underground world of cave houses for photos. Then continue to Granada, which served as the last stronghold of the Moors in Spain.

Granada to Costa del Sol
Spend the morning exploring Granada on your own, including time for a traditional tea break at a teterería if you like. By afternoon, head to the Costa del Sol beaches and take a relaxing walk along the coast to enjoy the sea air.

Costa del Sol to Seville
Cross into Gibraltar, a British enclave and gateway to the Mediterranean. You can optionally see the Barbary apes and visit St. Michael's cave at the Rock of Gibraltar. After that, travel north through Andalusian countryside back into Spain toward Seville.

Seville
A Local Guide shows you Seville and discusses the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition from Maria Luisa Park, surrounded by pavilions and fountains. You'll see the world's largest Gothic Cathedral and its Giralda Bell Tower. Optional activities include the Alcázar palace and a flamenco show in the evening.

Leave Seville and travel through the golden and green plains of the Alentejo region to Lisbon. Later you can go out with other travelers for nightlife in Bairro Alto or join your Travel Director for a choice experience with traditional Fado music and a meal.

Lisbon

Lisbon to Salamanca
Visit Fátima, the Catholic pilgrimage center where the Virgin Mary reportedly appeared to three shepherd children in 1917. After exploring the Basilica and Sanctuary, you'll cross into Spain and head to Salamanca. Your Travel Director shows you one of Spain's most beautiful plazas, Plaza Mayor, with its golden baroque facades. Spend the evening walking among historic monuments and honey-colored buildings.

Salamanca to Madrid

You'll see the Royal Palace and El Retiro Park from viewpoints. The evening is free to explore Madrid's nightlife or join an optional dinner discovery.
